They were now in a situation much like being snagged on power lines or something.
But they were hundreds of meters in the air. No power lines could possibly be strung that high, so what exactly was holding them?
Just as the people inside the helicopter, having narrowly escaped death, were still reeling in shock and uncertainty, they suddenly felt the aircraft begin to descend again.
Their hearts, which had only just settled a little, leaped back into their throats as despair surged through them once more.
"It's falling again! We're doomed!"
Someone shouted hysterically, but they soon realized that the helicopter was not plummeting in free fall as it had before. Instead, it was descending steadily at a relatively slow speed.
Chen Mo's Iron Man suit could reach the incredible speed of Mach 12, so its power was naturally formidable. This civilian S-76 helicopter weighed only five or six tons. The suit's thrust was more than enough to pull it, and its physical strength could hold an aircraft with no effort at all.
After stopping the helicopter's fall, Chen Mo simply grabbed its tail and slowly descended toward the ground.
Below the aircraft lay a flat valley nestled among the mountains, thick with shrubs and weeds. As the helicopter continued descending, its nose touched the ground first.
Chen Mo then held the helicopter's tail and slowly moved backward, restoring it to its proper position and safely setting it down on the ground.
The impact with the ground and the rotation of the fuselage made everyone aboard instinctively clutch the nearby handrails and their seat belts, but the weight hanging over their hearts finally lifted.
Looking at the valley beyond the windows, everyone burst into tears. They had finally returned to the ground. They had survived!
Having saved the aircraft,
