Of course, all of this depended on them being able to capture Iron Man!
There was another reason they had allowed the rescue workers and reporters inside: to restrain Iron Man!
Based on Iron Man's performance in rescuing people on these two occasions, they had concluded that he was clearly a righteous and kind-hearted person. He would never be willing to cause civilian casualties because of himself, much less fight the military in front of hundreds of millions of viewers across the country.
As long as they were firm enough in their attitude and gentle enough in their tone, Iron Man might very well surrender directly. After all, judging from what they had seen so far, he saw himself as a Super Hero, not an evil villain.
Since all the cameras on site were aimed at the cabin door, aside from those present, people watching on television and online had no idea what the military was doing.
Just as the soldiers took up positions beneath the boarding stairs and prepared to board the plane, a cabin door near the front of the aircraft suddenly opened from within.
Everyone at the scene instinctively turned their eyes toward the opening door. People watching on television and online stared without blinking as well, their hearts filled with curiosity. Who exactly had saved this plane and the lives of its hundred-plus passengers?
In contrast, the soldiers beneath the boarding stairs raised their guns toward the cabin door, while the heavy machine guns on several nearby armored vehicles swung around to aim at it as well.
Knowing who they were about to face, every soldier wore an extremely grave expression. Many felt uneasy, sweat involuntarily streaming down their foreheads.
They were actually sending them to capture Iron Man. Were they insane?!
*Hopefully, this Iron Man
