This was now Sector 7's only means of communicating with the outside world. Using that old military radio and the computer connected to it, Glenn Whitman maintained contact with Northern Command through Morse code.
Not long ago, they had received a message from Northern Command informing them that Captain William Lennox and the Special Operations Team had arrived in the city. According to what they had told the pilots, Megatron had launched a fierce attack on them along the way. To protect the AllSpark, Chen Mo had taken it and left the team, attempting to evade Megatron's pursuit!
The fighter squadron sent to support them had already headed to the coordinates provided by Captain William Lennox to search for and assist them, but they had yet to receive any further updates from Northern Command.
Most of the people in the archives room gathered behind Glenn Whitman, staring anxiously at the computer screen full of code. Though most of them could not understand it at all, they refused to look away, desperately hoping new information would appear on the screen.
They desperately wanted to know what was happening outside, whether Megatron had taken the AllSpark, and whether all their efforts had meant anything at all!
Not everyone stood around the computer. Department of Defense Secretary John Keller paced back and forth alone behind them, his expression heavy and uneasy!
Compared with the others, John Keller understood more clearly what the consequences would be if Chen Mo failed and Megatron ultimately obtained the AllSpark!
Everyone present, along with all humanity on Earth, would face the end of the world!
John Keller could not help praying inwardly. He only hoped Chen Mo would live up to their expectations. He did not need to kill Megatron, but at the very least, he could not
