S.H.I.E.L.D. was now severely understaffed, but secrecy prevented them from recruiting just anyone. Sam and Michaela, two insiders who had participated in the operation to stop the Decepticons from seizing the AllSpark, became two of Simmons's few remaining options.
Simmons was still barely satisfied with their previous performance. With proper training, they could become decent reserve talent in the future.
Sam and Michaela were both thrilled and excited to join S.H.I.E.L.D. Becoming Super Agents like Chen Mo had been their dream.
The only thing that displeased them was that Simmons—the man who had led people to arrest, interrogate, and torture them all night—had become their direct superior!
But compared to joining the S.H.I.E.L.D. they had dreamed of, that small flaw was not impossible to accept.
Especially after entering the base and seeing Optimus Prime and the other imposing Autobots with their own eyes, their eyes were filled with nothing but shock and longing!
The former Sector 7 personnel became the backbone of S.H.I.E.L.D. They were far more professional than Maggie Madsen, Sam, and the others. After all, they had originally been elite members of a secret organization. With their addition, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s framework was quickly established.
Although their numbers were not great, their overall strength, top-tier combat power, cohesion, and secrecy all far surpassed the former Sector 7.
Most importantly, above them all stood a Super Hero whose strength was unfathomable, who had once single-handedly wiped out a large number of Decepticons and even killed their strongest leader, Megatron!
With Chen Mo holding down the fort behind them, the newly formed S.H.I.E.L.D.'s morale soared to unprecedented heights!
Once all personnel were in place, the operation to eliminate the remaining Decepticons swiftly began!
However, Chen Mo did not personally participate.
