Background / History

The sect was founded by seven chivalrous heroes who eradicated bandits in the region. Its stated tradition is to act chivalrously and righteously while dealing uncompromisingly with evil 342.

During its seventh-grade era, Wuji Sect was one of Zhao Kingdom’s three leading sects. Chu Yunxiao brought Lu Ming to its mountain gate after the reappearance of the Demonic Cult, and the sect accepted him as an Outer Sect disciple after verifying his exceptional cultivation speed and combat record 24 25.

Lu Ming’s rise transformed the sect’s standing. His victories in the Inner Sect Grand Competition, the Hidden Dragon Secret Realm, and the Heavenly Pride Ranking increased the sect’s prestige, drew in new applicants, and supplied it with high-level martial arts and cultivation resources 65 99 165.

The sect demonstrated its willingness to protect its disciples during the Hidden Dragon Secret Realm dispute with Skyfire Sect. When Fire Spirit Son demanded that Lu Ming be handed over, Dongfang Yulong openly threatened a sect war rather than surrender him 98.

After the Wild Cloud Ridge beast tide erupted, Wuji Sect organized the frontline defense and sheltered nearby people, gaining considerable prestige while the Nine Heavens Sect delayed its response 234. Its subsequent expansion, promotions, and alliance-building elevated it from a Zhao Kingdom sect into a major regional power 242 347 422.

The Grand Competition is one of the sect’s most important events, drawing Inner Sect disciples, Outer Sect spectators, core disciples, and external guests. Its point system awards two points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss. 51
