The Teacher Led the Way in Skipping Class

A new day—Wednesday.

Beizawa changed clothes and went next door to the Ichiraku Ramen Shop for breakfast.

As he ate, he sorted through his tasks.

Only three remained unfinished, concerning Yakumo Kurama, Hinata Hyuga, and Sasuke Uchiha.

Among them, helping Yakumo Kurama return to the Ninja Academy was the most troublesome.

They had already made an arrangement yesterday to visit the Kurama Clan together on Saturday.

After finishing breakfast, Beizawa went to the classroom.

Kiba Inuzuka glanced out the window and asked, "Is this the first time Sasuke has taken the initiative to greet a teacher?"

Shikamaru Nara said thoughtfully.

Sasuke Uchiha came from the Uchiha Clan and was a genius himself, so he had plenty of pride.

On top of that, he had an excessively formidable older brother, so he usually paid little attention to the teachers in class.

But why had he suddenly become so polite today?

"I guess it's because Teacher Beizawa teaches well."

Shino Aburame adjusted his sunglasses and said.

"Sasuke-kun!"

"Am I scary?"

Ino Yamanaka planted her hands on her hips and blew at her golden bangs, looking quite angry.

"I'll treat you to barbecue tonight."

Shikamaru Nara said in a flash of inspiration.

"What about me?"

The moment Choji Akimichi heard barbecue, he became wildly excited.

"You too."

Shikamaru Nara said painfully.

Everyone in the Akimichi Clan had a huge appetite. More than half of the allowance he had painstakingly saved would probably be gone.

Ino Yamanaka gave a light snort, glanced at Sakura Haruno, and simply ran over to sit on Beizawa's left.

"If Teacher Beizawa were our age, he might steal Sasuke's spotlight."

Shikamaru Nara said as he looked at Hinata Hyuga and Ino Yamanaka seated on Beizawa's right and left.

"Hehe, barbecue."

Choji Akimichi was already imagining what kind of meat they would grill tonight.

"We're not eating beef tonight."

Shikamaru Nara turned and said.

Beef was the most expensive. If they did not eat beef, he could save a large sum of money.

"No beef? All right."

Choji Akimichi said regretfully.

The bell rang for the end of class.

Beizawa ended the lesson right on time, picked up his lesson plans, and left the classroom.

"Not bad."

Beizawa said with a smile, "In that case, skip class with me."

"Huh?"

Hinata Hyuga instinctively raised her head.

A teacher was taking her to skip class? She must have been caught in a genjutsu.

"This is called effective time management."

Beizawa said nonsense with a straight face. "You've already mastered the material in the textbook, so there's no need for you to attend class."

"B-but..."

Hinata Hyuga was immediately at a loss.

Beizawa grabbed her wrist and helped steady her.

The two jumped down together, climbing over the wall.

Hinata Hyuga instinctively pressed a hand to her chest, her little face flushed red.
