After Vill-V's detector reports that Lin Li has zero Honkai adaptability, Mobius treats the result as an intriguing contradiction: Lin Li has survived the Great Honkai and defeated a Herrscher despite supposedly lacking any adaptability 30.

Research Institute Staff Expansion

Following Bianca's departure, Mobius assigns Lin Li to collect Danzhu and Cang Xuan from the Far East. She brings the sisters into the institute while making clear that Lin Li's role does not require scientific expertise 34 40 42.
