Fengzi's wristband vibrated twice. It showed that she had received an email. The moment she saw the subject line, she leapt out of bed and bent down to pick up the clothes scattered all over the floor.
The man beside her also opened his eyes. He caught sight of Fengzi's slender lower back and the beautiful curve beneath it, but before he could admire it for long, she had already put on her pants and top and tidied her hair.
"What time is it?"
"About six." Fengzi poured two glasses of water as she spoke, drinking one herself and handing the other to the man in bed.
"Why so early?"
"The official reason is that I'm busy this morning. I just landed a big job, and I also have an ikebana class at ten."
