In Fabino's imagination, his second meeting with Sorsby should have been filled with drama.

Sorsby and his gang should have still been plotting which unlucky bastard to rob when, just as they were about to succeed, law enforcers appearing out of nowhere pinned them to the ground. Ideally, Fabino himself would lead the arrest, but if not, that would be fine too. He could walk up to the imprisoned Sorsby like he had today, stare into Sorsby's eyes, and ask in a low voice whether Sorsby remembered him.

Sorsby's gaze should have been puzzled at first, then turned fearful once he remembered him, worried that Fabino would use his authority to take revenge.

Zhang Heng, standing beside him, had no choice but to say, "I don't know what you're thinking, but cases like his are pretty common around here."

"Pretty common?" Fabino repeated Zhang Heng's words blankly.

"Yeah.
