Ch. 21First encounter with a Saint Realm expert

After completing his second quest, Andres planned to help Teresa reach the Saint realm, but he first saved Inori from a Dark Elf assassin. A Lightning Saint Realm expert then trapped everyone in a Pseudo-Domain and aimed a spear of lightning at Andres.

  • Andres completed his second quest and resolved to travel to Oga City to help Teresa comprehend Momentum.
  • Andres spotted a Dark Elf assassin sneaking up on Inori and warned her.
  • Andres used Momentum to interrupt the assassin, then killed her with his sword.
  • A Lightning Saint Realm expert spread a Pseudo-Domain across the area and formed a Lightning Spear aimed at Andres.

Ch. 22Holy Alliance's Invitation

Trevor and Kondra rescued Andres from Ratslo, then Trevor explained why Ratslo had targeted him and invited him to join the Holy Alliance. The chapter ended with Andres facing the invitation.

  • Ratslo trapped Andres in a Pseudo-Domain and attacked him, but Trevor and Kondra broke through it and drove Ratslo away.
  • Trevor told Andres that Ratslo had targeted him because Trevor’s presence had drawn the Beastman expert to the battle.
  • Teresa and Alisson arrived, and Trevor introduced himself as a Saint Realm expert of the Holy Alliance and Kondra as a Life Elf member.
  • Trevor revealed that Andres had mastered Drawing Upon Heaven and Earth and had reached the realm of a Saint Realm expert, needing only enough Battle Qi to advance.
  • Trevor invited Andres to join the Holy Alliance.

Ch. 23Holy Alliance Trainee

Trevor explained the Holy Alliance and admitted Inori and Teresa as trainees, then invited Andres to join. Andres learned that trainees could compete for Sacred Tree Fruit, which could rapidly increase Battle Qi, and asked whether it had any side effects.

  • Trevor explained that the Holy Alliance united experts and trained promising candidates to fight the Beastmen, then declared Inori qualified as a trainee.
  • Trevor told Teresa that the Holy Alliance had accepted him despite his being only a Level Seven Warrior, and Teresa thanked him excitedly.
  • Trevor encouraged Andres to join, but Andres considered the Alliance mainly a way to meet talented people and gather other elemental talents.
  • Andres asked what duties trainees had, and Trevor explained that they mainly trained but could fight Beastmen's geniuses for Sacred Tree Fruit.
  • Trevor said Sacred Tree Fruit could greatly increase Battle Qi, and Andres asked whether consuming it had any side effects.

Ch. 24Rise in Status

Andres joined the Holy Alliance and left Black Mountain City with Trevor, while Inori stayed behind to oversee the aftermath of the battle. In the City Lord's Manor, Mars learned that the Dark Elves wanted more money to send a stronger assassin after Inori.

  • Trevor offered Andres a Sacred Tree Fruit if he joined the Holy Alliance, and Andres accepted.
  • Trevor arranged for Andres, Inori, and Teresa to meet in Oga City in one month, but only Andres returned with him and Konrad.
  • Andres bid farewell to Pat and his friends before flying west on Trevor's Silver Dragon.
  • Teresa and Alisson returned to the Goblin Merchant Guild while Inori stayed to direct the cleanup after the Beastmen withdrew.
  • Mars met with a middle-aged Dark Elf, who demanded a higher price because Inori's strength exceeded their estimate and a stronger assassin was needed.

Ch. 25Teresa's Request

Mars learned that the Dark Elf Assassin’s failed mission would cost him a nonrefundable deposit and more than he could afford, but he remained determined to take the Demian Family’s inheritance from Inori. Andres returned to Oga City, where Teresa asked him to teach the techniques needed to pursue the Saint Domain, and Andres agreed before heading home unnoticed.

  • Mars refused the middle-aged Dark Elf’s new price for another assassination and failed to recover his deposit, then vowed to take the Demian Family from Inori.
  • Andres returned to Oga City on Silver Dragon and parted ways with Trevor and Kondra outside the city gates.
  • Teresa met Andres and asked him to teach Treating Light as Heavy and Drawing Upon Heaven and Earth.
  • Andres agreed to visit Teresa at the Goblin Merchant Guild and teach him the techniques.
  • Teresa and Alisson returned to the Goblin Merchant Guild, while Andres entered Oga City quietly and headed home.

Ch. 26Homecoming

Andres returned to Oga City and reunited with his parents and younger brother, Alex, after six years away. He took the family to dine on Tulip Avenue and assured them that his wealth was legitimate, though they remained worried and unconvinced.

  • Andres arrived at the Mitchell Blacksmith Shop, where Helen recognized him and embraced him while Raul welcomed him with a gruff greeting.
  • Helen introduced Andres to Mrs. Joseph and her family, and they left to give the Mitchells time together.
  • Raul worried that Andres had left Marquis Inori’s territory without permission, but Andres said Inori knew he had come home.
  • Alex returned in his Kingdom Knights armor and joyfully embraced Andres, and the family decided to celebrate with dinner.
  • Andres chose expensive Tulip Avenue over a local restaurant, said the family would never worry about gold coins again, and led them there by carriage as his parents questioned his sudden wealth.

Ch. 27Alex's Troubles

Andres took his family to Starlight Restaurant, where he revealed that he had reached Level Eight and could soon become a marquis. Alex’s interest in a woman at the restaurant exposed his feelings for Aniya Daniel, the daughter of Marquis Daniel.

  • Andres brought Raul, Helen, and Alex to Starlight Restaurant, where Raul and Helen balked at the expensive menu.
  • Andres told his parents that he was a Level Eight Warrior and could soon receive a marquis title and a fief, prompting Raul to order freely.
  • Raul recognized several prominent nobles dining at the restaurant, while Alex searched the hall for someone.
  • When Aniya Daniel entered and went into a private room, Alex stared after her, and Andres asked if he liked her.
  • Alex admitted that Aniya Daniel was Marquis Daniel’s daughter and said he had fallen for her after seeing her once.

Ch. 28Ninth Prince

Andres encouraged Alex to pursue Aniya despite her powerful suitors, revealing that he was a Holy Alliance Trainee and giving Alex new confidence. At the Starlight Restaurant, Aniya celebrated a friend’s upcoming marriage with noble young ladies, who discussed Marquis Gallo’s pursuit of her.

  • Alex admitted that he loved Aniya but felt unable to compete with her other suitors, especially Marquis Gallo, the son of the powerful Ninth Prince Patur.
  • Andres told his family that he was a Holy Alliance Trainee like Patur and explained that he might become a Saint Realm expert.
  • Alex gained confidence and resolved to pursue Aniya after Andres urged him to take the chance.
  • Alex confessed that he had chosen the Starlight Restaurant hoping Aniya might be there, and the family began their meal.
  • Aniya toasted Mara’s upcoming marriage with a group of noble young ladies, who discussed their hopes for marriage and Marquis Gallo’s long-standing pursuit of Aniya.

Ch. 29"Swiftness" Profound Mystery

After encouraging Alex to pursue Aniya, Andres focused on guiding Teresa and cultivating the Wind Elemental Law’s Swiftness Profound Mystery. He aimed to become a Demigod quickly before traveling to the dangerous Sacred Tree Continent, but he had not yet broken through the initial barrier of comprehension.

  • Aniya deflected her companions’ argument about Marquis Gallo by asking them to celebrate Mara instead.
  • Alex spent the following days seeking chances to grow closer to Aniya, while Andres left their relationship to them.
  • Andres guided Teresa’s practice at the Goblin Merchant Guild, and she made progress toward mastering Treating Light as Heavy.
  • Andres studied the Wind Elemental Law and chose the relatively easy Swiftness Profound Mystery as his path to becoming a Demigod.
  • Andres sensed the wind while cultivating and believed he would soon make his first breakthrough, though he had not yet entered the mystery’s doorway.

Ch. 30Alex Is Injured

Andres declined Ivan’s offer to join the Goblin Merchant Guild, then learned that Alex had been seriously injured and went with his parents to visit him. Alex refused to explain what happened, and after the soldiers who brought him to the medical hall hurried away, an elderly gentleman asked whether the injured man was Alex.

  • Andres told Ivan he could not join the Goblin Merchant Guild because he needed to take part in the struggle for the Oga Kingdom’s throne.
  • Ivan told Andres that Inori had returned to Oga City ahead of the army and that news of Andres killing Resior would soon spread.
  • Andres returned home and learned from Helen and Raul that Alex had been seriously injured and taken to the East City Medical Hall.
  • Andres and his parents visited Alex, who said his left hand and right foot were fractured but refused to explain how he had been hurt.
  • Andres questioned the two Kingdom Knights soldiers who had brought Alex to the medical hall, but they refused to talk and left.
  • An elderly gentleman approached Andres and asked whether the injured person in the room was Alex.

Ch. 31Marquis Gallo

Andres learned that Marquis Gallo was likely behind Alex’s attack for pursuing Aniya, who sent money and asked Alex to stay away from her. Ignoring his family’s warnings to endure the insult, Andres went to Marquis Gallo’s residence and entered after confirming the Marquis was home.

  • Karel visited Alex on Aniya’s behalf, gave him money, and told him not to seek her out again.
  • Karel told Andres that Marquis Gallo threatened Aniya’s suitors and that Alex was likely attacked because he pursued her.
  • Alex explained that two Level Seven Warriors had ambushed him after Marquis Gallo warned him away from Aniya.
  • Raul and Alex urged Andres not to provoke Marquis Gallo, but Andres left the hospital and went to the Marquis’s residence.
  • When the guards demanded his identity, Andres inferred Marquis Gallo was home and walked into the residence.

Ch. 32Revenge

Andres forced his way into Marquis Gallo’s estate to confront him over Alex’s injuries. Gallo admitted responsibility, but Andres defeated his two Level Eight Warrior guards, leaving Gallo stunned.

  • Andres entered Marquis Gallo’s estate and defeated the captain who tried to stop him.
  • Andres demanded that the guards bring Gallo to him, and Gallo arrived and admitted he had injured Alex over Aniya.
  • Gallo ordered two Level Eight Warriors from the Sacred Tree Continent to break Andres’s limbs.
  • Andres used Momentum to immobilize the two warriors and punched them both away, shocking Gallo.

Ch. 33A Stir

Andres broke all four of Marquis Gallo’s limbs after Gallo threatened him, then left without killing him because he feared retaliation against his family. Meanwhile, the cabinet celebrated the victory at Black Mountain City and agreed to make Andres a hereditary duke, but news of the attack on Gallo’s residence interrupted the meeting.

  • Andres caught Gallo’s punch and broke his right arm after Gallo insulted him and invoked his royal family.
  • Gallo threatened Andres and his family, so Andres broke both of Gallo’s legs and then his left hand, leaving all four limbs broken.
  • Andres decided not to kill Gallo because he feared the kingdom might target his family, and he walked out as the guards stood aside.
  • At an emergency cabinet meeting, Inori reported the victory at Black Mountain City and the cabinet praised Andres’s achievements.
  • The cabinet agreed to grant Andres the hereditary title of duke and publicize the victory.
  • A servant rushed into the meeting and reported that someone had broken into Gallo’s residence and injured him.

Ch. 34Result

After Andres injured Marquis Gallo, the cabinet arrived and weighed whether to punish him or risk a confrontation. Inori persuaded them to leave the decision to the Ninth Prince, leaving Andres and Gallo’s conflict unresolved.

  • An attendant told the cabinet that Andres had attacked Marquis Gallo over the suspected injury of Andres’s younger brother, Alex.
  • The cabinet hurried to Gallo’s residence, where they found Andres preparing to leave and Gallo with all four limbs twisted.
  • Charles asked Balzan whether he could restrain Andres, and Balzan said he was not confident he could defeat him.
  • Inori urged the cabinet to let the Ninth Prince decide how to handle the conflict, and Balzan and the other cabinet members agreed.
  • Charles ordered soldiers to carry Gallo away for medical treatment, while Gallo angrily demanded to know why Andres was not being arrested.

Ch. 35Departure

After injuring Marquis Gallo, Andres joined the Goblin Merchant Guild as a guest elder to protect his family, while the Oga Kingdom withheld the military rewards he had earned. When Trevor and Kondra prepared to leave for the Holy Alliance, Andres said goodbye to his family and departed with Teresa, Inori, and the others aboard Trevor's Silver Dragon.

  • Inori warned Andres that Ninth Prince Patur was no ordinary opponent and offered to help him, while Andres recognized her interest in recruiting him.
  • Andres accepted a black-gold guest elder Token from Ivan and brought his family into the Goblin Merchant Guild's protection.
  • The Oga Kingdom celebrated its victory at Black Mountain City, but its official report omitted Andres, and King Oga withheld his rewards.
  • Inori told Andres that Trevor and Kondra would depart the next morning and explained that his conflict with Marquis Gallo had cost him his military merits.
  • Andres shared a farewell meal with the Mitchell Family, then joined Teresa, Trevor, Kondra, and Inori outside the West Gate and flew west aboard Trevor's Silver Dragon.

Ch. 36Human Saint Realm

Marquis Gallo learned that Andres’s family was protected by the Goblin Merchant Guild, while Andres and his companions traveled toward the Holy Alliance on the Silver Dragon. Trevor explained the power structure of Sacred Tree Continent and revealed that Wind Sage Yasen was one of humanity’s only Saint Realm Limit Experts.

  • Marquis Gallo learned that Andres had become a Holy Alliance Trainee and a guest advisor of the Goblin Merchant Guild, leaving him unable to target Andres or his family.
  • Trevor and Kondra subdued a Saint Realm Thunderwing Sky-Horse, then traveled with Andres and the others toward Sacred Tree Continent.
  • Trevor warned Andres and the others to avoid making enemies on Sacred Tree Continent, where the Elf Race and Beastmen Race were dominant and humans were comparatively weak.
  • Trevor urged Andres to seek unity with Patur, and Andres said his conflict with Patur was not a life-or-death feud.
  • Trevor explained that Human Saint Realm experts settled irreconcilable disputes under Yasen’s supervision, then identified Yasen as a Saint Realm Limit Expert.

Ch. 37News of the Plane Teleportation Array

As the Silver Dragon carried Andres, Inori, Teresa, and Trevor toward Sacred Tree Continent, Andres questioned Trevor about the world and the Plane Teleportation Array. They arrived at Yasen City, where Andres learned the Sacred Tree would bear fruit in three months, giving him a chance to obtain Sacred Tree Fruit and advance his cultivation.

  • Trevor explained the ranks of Saint Realm experts, and Inori and Teresa reacted with awe at Yasen's power.
  • Andres asked Trevor about the ocean and what lay beyond it, learning that Spatial Turbulence marked the plane's edge and that Trevor knew of no life beyond it.
  • Andres considered whether the Plane Teleportation Array and the Four Supreme Planes had appeared yet, then decided to wait until Teresa became a god to learn more.
  • Trevor pointed out Sacred Tree Continent and told Andres that the Sacred Tree would bear fruit in three months, when Elves and Beastmen would compete for it.
  • Trevor showed the group Yasen City and explained that Yasen had founded it after becoming the Human Race's first Saint Realm expert more than three thousand years earlier.

Ch. 38Patur

As Andres and the others traveled toward the Holy Alliance, Patur broke through to the Saint Domain while fighting a Purple-Striped Black Bear under Abad’s guidance. Abad gave Patur mithril for a new weapon, and they set off for the Holy Alliance to report his advancement to Yasen.

  • Andres and the others flew west past Yasen City toward the Holy Alliance, which lay near the center of Sacred Tree Continent.
  • Abad watched Patur fight a Peak Level Nine Purple-Striped Black Bear in Sacred Tree Forest as Patur’s strength began to fade.
  • Patur broke through his final bottleneck, killed the bear with his broken sword, and entered the Saint Domain.
  • Abad congratulated Patur and explained that he could now entrust the Oga Kingdom to him.
  • Abad gave Patur a piece of mithril to help repair his weapon, and Patur accepted it.
  • Patur stored the bear’s corpse, and he and Abad flew toward the Holy Alliance to report his breakthrough to Yasen.

Ch. 39First Arrival at the Holy Alliance

Andres and the others arrived at the Holy Alliance, a nature-blended city where Saint Realm experts from many races gathered. Trevor led them toward Lord Yasen and the trainee registration, while Andres hoped to find geniuses whose talents he could bind.

  • Trevor showed Andres and the others the Holy Alliance and warned them not to cause trouble among its powerful residents.
  • Trevor led the group into the estate to meet Lord Yasen and complete their Holy Alliance Trainee procedures, while Kondra went elsewhere.
  • Human residents recognized Inori and Teresa as promising trainees but did not know Andres.
  • Andres found no Godhood talents among the people they passed and decided there would be more chances to meet geniuses.
  • Trevor explained that the Human Race had fewer than forty trainees, most raised in Yasen City, and Inori noted that Creig, their greatest genius, had come from the Noah Continent.

Ch. 40Yasen

Trevor brought Andres, Inori, and Teresa to the Holy Alliance, where they learned that the gifted warrior Creig had died young and that Patur had recently become a Saint Realm expert. As Trevor led them to meet Lord Yasen, Andres saw Yasen facing off against Abad in the air.

  • Inori recalled that Creig had become a Level Nine Warrior by thirty, and Trevor revealed that Creig had died at thirty-two after comprehending Drawing Upon Heaven and Earth.
  • Trevor showed Andres, Inori, and Teresa the Saint Realm residences in Yasen City, where they met Ramsey, a Saint Realm Peak expert.
  • Ramsey revealed that Patur had recently become a Saint Realm expert, worrying Inori about the throne and Andres about his conflict with Gallo.

  • Trevor led the group toward Lord Yasen's building, where they saw Yasen and Abad facing each other in the sky.
