The mysterious ship sailing the vast Sea of Quantum—Hyperion.
This is a magical ship capable of crossing boundless space, traversing ancient time, and navigating through endless Sands of Time Worlds. It is the starting point of origins and the end of Finality. It is the beginning of myriad dreams, carrying its crew ever onward…
"Scrub-a-dub, scrub-a-dub, I'm the deck cleaner, scrub-a-dub, scrub-a-dub, the deck is sparkling…"
On Hyperion's incredibly spacious deck, a young man with red hair, dressed in a white captain's uniform and a white military cap bearing a golden circle with the character "Captain", was happily cleaning every corner of the deck, humming a tune.
His handsome and refined face, with eyes like rubies, exuded an optimistic aura. His smile was clean and immediately made people feel a sense of familiarity.
He was Hyperion's Captain, and also its deck cleaner, possessing the awesome skill of Aerial Split.
"Captain, Hyperion has a shield, all the dust is blocked outside. Why are you here scrubbing the deck again!" a pleasant and melodious voice called out, tinged with helplessness and confusion.
"Mei asked me to call you for dinner. Hurry up, I'm starving!"
The girl, wearing casual clothes primarily in white with cat paw patterns, let out a helpless yet cheerful laugh and quietly appeared behind the red-haired youth.
Her waist-length hair was as white as snow, and her sapphire-blue eyes were as clear as blue gems. She possessed both youthful vitality and the maturity of someone who had experienced much, along with a hint of charming innocence, leaving a deep impression at first glance. She was a beautiful girl with the aura of a moon goddess.
Especially her pair of perfectly straight, long legs, which radiated a bright, jade-like glow, could be admired for many years.
"It's a habit, just like Jiu Xiao playing games!" Zhang Wei looked at Kiana, flicked her nose, and smiled indulgently. Having accompanied Kiana this far, he knew how much hardship she had endured and felt a deep affection for her from the bottom of his heart.
Zhang Wei, the Wei who does as he pleases—that was the name Ai Yi gave him, and he was quite satisfied with it.
As Hyperion's Captain, he wasn't a native being of the Imaginary Tree, but merely a transient visitor.
He was a being nurtured by the magical ship Hyperion, his memories gathering the thoughts of beings from various worlds. One could say he was born with knowledge, and he was also the Captain chosen by Hyperion.
For a long time at the beginning, although he knew many, many things, he hadn't fully processed them. Therefore, his personality was like that of a god who looked down on everything, indifferent to external gains or losses.
Hyperion was the dream ship of every Captain, at least in his memories, that concept existed…
"Captain, what are you thinking about? Hurry up and eat!" Kiana placed her hands on her waist, bending slightly, her graceful body leaning forward, glaring at him with dissatisfaction. To be lost in thought while talking to such a beautiful girl like her was too much.
"Alright!"
Zhang Wei nodded. He glanced at his half-day's work; the deck was spotless, and he felt quite proud. This was the result of his efforts. In reality, it was already very clean, but he had made cleaning the deck a habit. If he didn't clean it for a long time, he would feel uncomfortable all over.
"Captain, for lunch today, we have braised pork, Mapo tofu… you should really like it!" Raiden Mei, wearing a purple apron, exuded an elegant and virtuous Yamato Nadeshiko aura, which made Kiana unable to resist hugging her arm and affectionately acting spoiled.
"Alright, Kiana, weren't you hungry? How can you eat if you're holding my arm!"
Raiden Mei was quite helpless about this, but she didn't break free, having grown accustomed to such things.
"It looks so delicious! You've worked hard, Mei." Seeing that they were all authentic Divine Land dishes, Zhang Wei couldn't help but drool. Mei had been learning to cook for a long time, and she knew all sorts of dishes, never letting them get tired of eating.
"I'm glad you like it, Captain!" Mei smiled slightly, her wifely charm making Zhang Wei's appetite surge.
"Little Captain, I must say, bringing Mei onto the ship was a very wise decision!" Cabbage Head said with a smile, looking at Zhang Wei with the affectionate gaze of a parent towards their child.
Zhang Wei covered his head, his sunny and handsome face full of helplessness. "Ai Yi, how many times have I told you? Just call me Captain, why do you have to add 'little'?"
"Isn't that right?" Ai Yi Hyperion Λ narrowed her eyes and smiled slyly.
"Hahaha, Little Captain, the name 'Ai Yi' really suits you!" Kiana burst into laughter, and even Mei's face showed a smile.
"..."
Several crows flew over Zhang Wei's head, his mouth twitching uncontrollably. However, he couldn't refute Ai Yi's words.
He had been cared for by Ai Yi since he was a baby. Although Ai Yi appeared gentle, she was actually quite devious. She had always wanted Zhang Wei to call her "Mother," and if he hadn't possessed omniscience, he would have truly been tricked into calling Ai Yi "Mom."
"Kiana, whether I'm little or not, you should know very well!" Zhang Wei looked at the still-laughing Kiana, his tone deep as he made a suggestive remark.
"Cough, cough, cough, let's eat first!"
Kiana immediately understood what Zhang Wei was implying and, blushing, changed the subject. Her face was as red as a small apple.
Even Kiana couldn't help but blush, let alone Mei, who was more easily embarrassed, especially in front of others. Zhang Wei, however, didn't feel embarrassed at all; his memories contained far more explosive things he could recall at any time.
In contrast, Ai Yi Hyperion Λ, as a special life form, was not shy about such topics. Instead, she savored the gossip with great interest.
What they didn't know was that Ai Yi, through her connection with Hyperion, could see everything that happened in their rooms at night. Ai Yi, after all, knew them best.
However, she had no intention of revealing it, preferring to watch secretly, finding it stimulating.
"Ai Yi, what's Hyperion's status? How much longer will it take to repair?" Zhang Wei didn't continue the bedroom topic, eating Mei's delicious Divine Land cuisine with a serious expression as he asked.
He, this special Captain, was one with Hyperion. If he died, Hyperion would be destroyed, and if Hyperion was destroyed, he would also die.
Under normal circumstances, Hyperion's defense value was almost indestructible. However, it had been attacked by a large entity previously, exceeding its threshold, causing damage. But this was also related to many of Hyperion's functions being in hibernation; it wasn't at its peak yet.
"Hull damage is 10%, shield damage is 30%. Estimated repair time is 666 days. Normal navigation is not a problem, but if we encounter another situation where we are attacked by the Imaginary Tree, we can only make an emergency landing in a World Bubble!"
Ai Yi pulled up the data and looked at Zhang Wei with a resentful expression, like a cheating lover, making him feel quite guilty.
Zhang Wei awkwardly rubbed his nose, his red eyes beginning to dart away.
