Elysian Realm: Tour

The brief silence was broken by Aponia. In her slow cadence, she said, "There is plenty of time. Now that the threads of fate have changed with the appearance of this Hyperion, the Elysian Realm no longer needs to continue as it once did. Let us go back and think it over. Is that acceptable, Captain?"

"I'll leave it to you."

Zhang Wei nodded, while discreetly glancing at Aponia's heavily burdened chest. At such close range, the visual impact was even more overwhelming. It was so huge that even two hands could not hold it all.

Zhang Wei was also puzzled. With such a heavy burden on her shoulders, did Aponia not get tired?

"Agreed!"

The Flame-Chasers all nodded. Although Elysia had indeed gained a new body, they still needed to carefully consider whether they truly wanted to leave the Elysian Realm. After all, they were people of a bygone era.

Yet in the end, nearly all of them agreed. After tens of thousands of years in the almost completely unchanging environment of the Elysian Realm, even though the Flame-Chasers were merely Memory Bodies, they had been bored to death. Aside from Mobius, who had always been trying to find a way out of the Elysian Realm, everyone else wanted some sort of change to varying degrees—something that could breathe life back into the long-stagnant waters of the Elysian Realm.

So whenever new visitors entered, the Flame-Chasers found it somewhat entertaining.

The Flame-Chasers returned to their respective areas, while Elysia remained behind, looking around with great curiosity at the Hyperion. However, Zhang Wei knew perfectly well that Kiana and the others interested Elysia far more than the Hyperion did.

"Captain, I have a question. The Hyper-dimensional Factor can be manifested from Honkai Beast factors, but how did you manage to create my Herrscher Authority?" Elysia sat on the sofa with her legs crossed. The visual impact of her voluptuous thighs pressing against each other and deforming made Zhang Wei look a few extra times.

Her Origin Authority was not something even a Herrscher of Reason could perfectly manifest, yet it had genuinely appeared within her body.

"Of course, I used this ready-made method. Otherwise, it would indeed have been a little troublesome."

Zhang Wei took a crystal-clear branch from his pocket. Endless imaginary energy instantly filled the space. This was not a tree in the literal sense, but a manifested creation. Within every leaf, one could see the existence of worlds, and Elysia could clearly sense that crushing weight.

"What a beautiful thing... Wait, this cannot be a branch from the Imaginary Tree, can it?"

Elysia's small mouth fell open. How could a Herrscher like her possibly mistake that aura, so similar to the Imaginary Origin? She was not a Herrscher of the Quantum Side. Herrschers related to the Cocoon of Finality were basically on the imaginary side, while Seele, a Herrscher born from the Sea, could be considered part of the Quantum Side.

The next second, after forming that guess, Elysia looked at Zhang Wei's pocket. Why had he taken something like that out in such a manner? It felt rather absurd. Should it not have been kept somewhere safer?

And why did he have a branch from the Imaginary Tree? Judging by the cut, it looked as though he had snapped it directly off the Imaginary Tree.

"Correct, but there is no prize. This is a branch from the Imaginary Tree. With it, I can use some of the Imaginary Tree's abilities to a certain extent."

Although I snatched it, I snatched it openly and fairly. There is nothing wrong with using it.

For Earth, the so-called Cocoon of Finality was an extraterrestrial entity, and every Herrscher was a projection of the Cocoon of Finality. It was the sole imaginary singularity through which the Imaginary Tree acted upon a world. Like a valve at the tip of the Imaginary Tree, it controlled everything related to Honkai.

Elysia took a deep breath, gaining an even deeper understanding of Zhang Wei's mystery. He even dared to pluck wool from an existence as great as the Imaginary Tree. Even the Herrscher of Finality probably would not have had that kind of nerve.

"Elysia, take us for a walk around the Elysian Realm. You should be the most familiar with it, right?" Zhang Wei did not want to continue that subject. The Imaginary Tree's power was beyond doubt, but as the number of Valkyries aboard the Hyperion increased, he might not lack the chance to surpass it. No, he would definitely surpass it.

"That is true, but Pardo knows it even better than I do. She probably knows even the secret passages inside out!" Elysia said with a smile.

Aside from the special case of Aponia, Pardo often went to the other Flame-Chasers to stock up on goods. Pardofelis had left her footprints in nearly every corner. Elysia could take Zhang Wei and the others around the places she often visited, fulfilling her duties as a host.

"Jana, change into something else. Do not wear that outfit outside," Zhang Wei said. Seeing Jana dressed so scantily made his head ache. It was fine aboard the Hyperion, but elsewhere was another matter.

"Got it."

Jana closed her eyes. Honkai Energy, almost tangible in form, surged from her body. When it dissipated, her clothing had transformed into something simple. She wore a sea-blue, figure-hugging long dress beneath a predominantly white cloak, with a white veil covering her long blue hair. Her bewitching beauty vanished, and Jana now looked like a saintess.

"Jana, you are not human, are you?"

Elysia's eyes lit up. That level of Honkai Energy far exceeded that of any Herrscher she had seen in the Previous Civilization, as though it could destroy the world. Still, she would not dislike the beautiful girl Jana because of it.

"Human? Among all the beings in the Elysian Realm and aboard the Hyperion, there are probably none who can truly be called human in the strict sense," Jana said with a faint smile.

They were either Memory Bodies, Herrschers, or Fusion Warriors. They could be called human, but they could equally be called inhuman.

"I am a Honkai Beast, but what does it matter if I am not human? Humans are far too complicated. Some, like you, Elysia, are kind and always hold goodwill in their hearts. But evil people? They can make even Honkai Beasts feel ashamed of themselves!"

"Is that a compliment? Then I will gladly accept it." Elysia raised an eyebrow, took Jana and the others by the hand, and headed outside.

Having traveled the world since childhood, how could she not have seen humanity's ugly side? Yet she was still willing to believe in humanity's kind side. The ugliness of human nature angered her, but she was not an omnipotent god and could not control the thoughts of others. She had always remained true to her original heart.

Zhang Wei smiled at the scene and followed after them. He had no desire to conquer the world. The Hyperion was his home, and their shared home as well. A relaxed life was good enough. Occasionally changing a regretful outcome was fine, but he had no interest whatsoever in getting involved in schemes and conspiracies.

Led by Elysia, everyone began touring the Elysian Realm. The buildings here were quite distinctive, all architecture from the Previous Civilization, carrying the weight of history.
