Elymen

A tapping sound came from the broadcast as a playful greeting, light as drifting petals, followed it.

Through the display, those aboard the Hyperion saw the pink figure outside. The words Flawless Person quietly surfaced in everyone's minds. They had met all kinds of people, yet no one was like Elysia—her true self was without flaw.

As Zhang Wei watched Elysia's figure, scenes from the Previous Civilization appeared in his mind.

One day, she fell from the heavens. People looked up, and thus saw the Starry Sky.

The stars and moon delivered the daughter of a god. She wished to become humanity's companion.

The long wind became her carriage, the four seas became her garden, birds brought seeds of goodness, and a hundred flowers wove hymns of love.

That was how she was born into the world. She walked upon the earth, grew alongside humanity, and sprouted together with the world.

Others were pink on the outside and black within, but Elysia was pink through and through. She was a pure "human." Though she had witnessed humanity's malice and flaws, she had always believed in humanity's beauty and kindness, longing to become human herself.

She was a Herrscher, yet she fit the definition of a human better than anyone else—pure and flawless, like a crystal flower.

"Let's go take a look. The Herrscher of the Human, Elysia of [Ego]!" As the Captain of the Hyperion, having witnessed those stories, he too was a member of Elymen. Now that he was about to meet Elysia, he was incredibly excited.

"Captain, you four go ahead. I'm going back to catch up on sleep first!" Himeko yawned. She was a woman too, so naturally she cared about her appearance. Looking like a drunken wreck was best avoided.

"Me too!" Jiu Xiao had heavy dark circles beneath her eyes as she returned to her room. She had pulled countless all-nighters and was exhausted now.

Zhang Wei felt awkward, but he did not insist. They were not heading into a fight, so it did not matter if they came later.

"Hi! So many adorable pretty girls. Could today be my lucky day?"

Elysia's light, lively voice rang out. Her sky-blue eyes sparkled. It was now certain that she was not a bad person—how could a pretty girl possibly be bad? As she slowly stepped onto the deck, her attention was completely drawn to Kiana and the other two, leaving Zhang Wei standing there with an awkward expression. He had been ignored outright!

What a bad woman!

"Since you don't seem to be enemies, you must be visitors. Ahem..." Elysia cleared her throat, clasped her hands behind her back, and looked at them with playful sweetness. "Welcome, noble and pure souls. Care to guess who I am?"

Kiana watched Elysia warily. This woman was really something.

Her slightly curled pink hair was tied in a ponytail. Her flawless, beautiful face was captivating, and a pair of elven ears appeared faintly between her pink locks, drawing the eye.

She wore a uniform designed by Eden, the Previous Civilization's finest designer. Only clothing designed by Eden could perfectly bring out Elysia's charm. Her mature and captivating figure was lush and full, but the softness suited Elysia perfectly, never making her seem fat—everything was just right.

The eyes were the windows to the soul. Elysia's sky-blue pupils were as pure as crystal, clear and translucent.

"Elysia, I've finally met you! As a member of Elymen, I'm truly overjoyed!"

Zhang Wei's abrupt action instantly made the atmosphere freeze. Dressed in a white Captain's uniform, he dropped to one knee before Elysia, gently lifted her right hand, and wore an expression of such devotion that it was as though he had beheld his faith itself.

Kiana: "..."

Mei: "..."

Jana: "..."

The three of them twitched their lips at the same time, but they were already used to it. Their Captain occasionally lost his mind; it was nothing unusual.

After recovering from her daze, Elysia looked at the red-haired young man before her with a complicated expression, her heart filled with mixed feelings.

Ahhh, what is going on? My dear Eden, hurry over here! I really don't know what to do! Is this handsome young man being a little too enthusiastic?

She had always loved teasing others, but this was the first time she had encountered something like this. Judging by his expression, he did not seem to be joking.

"Ahem, stand up first. What is Elymen?"

At those words, Zhang Wei's expression became even more solemn, as though holy light had descended upon him.

Seeing this, Elysia suddenly had a bad feeling, but it was already too late. There was no way to stop him.

"The Church of Elysia needs no words for itself. All who receive the goddess's love are believers of our church, but know that the goddess loves all people."

"Thus, all people are believers of our church."

"First doctrine: fulfill every wish of the goddess, regardless of the cost."

"Seventh doctrine: the goddess loves all people, and especially favors those with horns. Believers without horns must strive to grow them, lest they bring shame upon the church."

"May the goddess's love endure in you and me. May Elymen endure forever!"

"Join the Church of Elysia! Believe in the most perfect Elysia!"

"Ah~ Elymen!"

Zhang Wei held Elysia's right hand with a devout expression and kissed the back of it as though he were kissing the most perfect treasure in the world.

"..."

After hearing those doctrines, a faint blush appeared on Elysia's pretty face. This was the first time she had experienced such a socially mortifying feeling. Those lines were simply too embarrassing, to the point that she had not even noticed Zhang Wei's hand-kiss.

"From today on, I don't know this Captain!"

Kiana felt utterly humiliated and immediately distanced herself from Zhang Wei. She could not understand how he had delivered such embarrassing lines with such a solemn face.

"Neither do I!"

"Same here!"

Even Jana, a Planet-class Honkai Beast, could not understand Zhang Wei's actions, though she too felt embarrassed.

"Ahem, why do I feel like this is some kind of cult? That was way too embarrassing!" Elysia took a deep breath, calming the turmoil in her heart.

Eden and the others didn't see that just now, did they? They probably didn't. They definitely didn't. Elysia comforted herself.

"Hehe, who would have thought, Elysia? You actually have such a devout believer." A seductive voice rang out, dangerous and alluring like a venomous snake on the hunt. A petite figure arrived atop a flying craft, watching the flustered Elysia with glee and mercilessly mocking her.

This is wonderful. I finally got to see Elysia suffer for once. This is even more satisfying than dissecting White Mouse. It's just a shame I didn't record it, or I could see how she'd dare bother me again in the future.

Ahhh, when will the Stellar Express come explore the Honkai Impact 3rd universe? Take me away. The Elysian Realm no longer has a place for me.
