After much deliberation, the flower shop was ultimately built in an alley.

Yet he had to buy it. Since the South One Pope was willing to sell, that meant his intention to leave was probably firm. If he really sold it to some other big shot, that would only create fresh trouble.
After all, Lu PingAn had already planted the Mother Tree. If some highly controlling big shot showed up, getting along with them would become another unknown.

In the first half of that statement, Xia Qin was still Lu PingAn's external conscience, as always.
But the latter half revealed the marks time had left behind.
The Xia Qin of the past would probably have treated everyone equally. At the very least, she would never have proactively suggested differential treatment. The woman who pursued
