Background & History

Lei Shui Yun initially concealed her beastification traits with a Cat Cat hairclip, white ribbon cords, and a decorative bow on her tail. Her ability, Cat, made her physically suited to the Runner path but also made ordinary life and secrecy difficult. She regularly spoke with a “meow” verbal tic and openly ate cat food when short of money. 6

She and her brother, Lei Huo Ren, were connected to the same traumatic incident involving an “evil hospital.” Cat Cat's cheerful innocence is later described as a coping mechanism rather than genuine naivety; she divides people into her brother, Lu PingAn, and everyone else. 147 806

Lu PingAn discovered that she was not an ordinary beastification user but a Spirit Cat with the rare talent Possession.
