It was a beautiful little snake.
Its pale blue body bore faint, starlike ripples. Its golden eyes were as calm as sunlight, and pale white bone plates were set into its head, making it look like a crystal-clear pet.
The only thing somewhat supernatural about it was the tiny horn on its forehead, which revealed its extraordinary nature.
The little snake flicked its tongue at its host and had even licked his face while he slept.
Lu PingAn held out his hand, and the little thing immediately coiled around it.
It wrapped around half of Lu PingAn's arm and hand, opening its mouth in his palm and flicking its tiny crimson tongue.
The Little Guy's gaze was astonishingly humanlike, filled with longing and affection.
Lu PingAn even found it a little cute—then he remembered his other two magical pets and found it even cuter.
"Hungry?"
When pets became clingy, it often was not because they liked you. They were begging for food.
The Little Guy seemed to understand and actually nodded in a very humanlike manner.
After thinking for a moment, Lu PingAn wrapped it around his hand and took it outside.
"Yo, looks like you've recovered pretty well."
People greeted him along the way.
But strangely, no one noticed Ajiu on his hand, despite how obvious it was.
".Oh, I just woke up. Look, what is this?"
"What? Is your hand injured? It doesn't look obvious. Why not see a doctor?" The man was a little surprised. Wasn't his hand perfectly fine? Could it be an internal fracture?
