Lu PingAn's return to the work rotation let everyone breathe a sigh of relief.

For Wang Xi'er and the Independent Regiment, the Rebirth Warband seemed to lack initiative without Lu PingAn. Even after being given intelligence and commissions, they showed no sign of taking action on their own.

In truth, although Lu PingAn had handed over decision-making authority, the two decision-makers clearly still leaned toward caution.

To his companions, his return was reassuring as well.

That was not to say they could do nothing without Lu PingAn's combat strength.

"With the Courtyard operational again, everyone feels much more at ease."

Lu PingAn was not merely a leader and a fighter. He was also the owner of the Courtyard. When operations revolved around him, the Rebirth Warband's combat power and resources could be deployed at any time.

Without him, they naturally could not feel entirely secure.

"...Any news from the Knight Order?"

"They're on the way. Our people have already gone to meet them."

Lu PingAn nodded and asked no further questions.

The previous beast-taming camp had been the old nest of Lu PingAn's group, as well as their Main Camp for constantly producing troops. But now, it was no longer suitable for independent use.

On one hand, Lu PingAn's combat force would operate with this camp as its core. On the other, remaining alone outside made them a likely target for concentrated retaliation by the Aus.

Thus, after winning the previous battle, Lu PingAn had ordered those stationed there to begin preparing for relocation and move the beast-taming base here.

At this stage, several tamed beasts at the base had already begun internal iteration. The wild breeds had fallen far behind the newborns from the "ranch," so there was no longer any need to remain in that forest.
