• Xia Qin maintained a protective domain around a raft carrying seven or eight badly mutated survivors while Kun Ba and two cloaked figures escorted them toward a portal to the upper layer.

Lu PingAn mistook Xia Qin’s companions for enemies and prepared an underground ambush, but recognized them before striking. Kun Ba recruited him for a mission to destroy the Snake King’s Scale Throne, but their journey was interrupted by The Fool An LiJie, who had come to hunt Lu PingAn.

• Lu PingAn used his rented ability and the Spirit Transformation tactic to set an ambush beneath Xia Qin and her companions, then realized they were old acquaintances.
• Kun Ba recognized Lu PingAn’s Spirit Fusion and Abyss Decapitation Sword and asked him to help the group.

Lu PingAn learned that Xia Qin’s master had come to the battlefield in connection with “Snake Shedding” and went with Xia Qin to investigate what they could gain from the crisis. As the battle descended into chaos, Lu PingAn considered whether the abyss functioned as a single organism, while the Snake King charged into a human trap and hidden nets began to close around her.

• Lu PingAn asked Xia Qin about her master’s purpose, and she told him the master had mentioned “Snake Shedding” and the Snake King.
• Lu PingAn enlisted Chris to explain the Eternal Faction’s view of a race as one life, then left with Xia Qin to assess the unfolding crisis.
• The Abyss Creatures flooded the battlefield, fighting humans, local creatures, one another, and even their superiors without regard for survival.

Di Di Luo Na was lured into a triple dream and ambushed by Gelawu while human fighters helped bring her down. After she exploded and revived on the seventh layer of the Abyss, she found her home in ruins and faced the Six-legged Stupid Toad An LiJie.

• Di Di Luo Na awakened from Yuan Xing's dream attack to discover that her dream wound had become real and her regeneration had been stripped away.
• Gelawu pretended to rescue Di Di Luo Na, then struck her vital spot and began devouring her while human fighters watched.
• Di Di Luo Na fought back but could not overcome Gelawu, and she exploded in a final attack that appeared to destroy her.
• Gelawu warned that Di Di Luo Na would revive within half a month, while the human fighters remained confident.
• Di Di Luo Na revived on the seventh layer of the Abyss, found her castle and forces reduced to ruins, and confronted the Six-legged Stupid Toad An LiJie.

Di Di Luo Na revived in a weakened state and fought the Great Toad while Kun Ba's group searched the ruined Serpent King's city for another Snake Shedding. The group found a portal but could not reach Lu PingAn, who was elsewhere supervising people digging beside a river.

• Di Di Luo Na emerged from a Snake Shedding and fought the Great Toad, who overwhelmed her weakened body.
• Di Di Luo Na's reincarnation ability consumed a shed skin, damaged her soul and foundation, and left her needing at least a year to recover.
• Kun Ba's group decided to let the Great Toad fight Di Di Luo Na while they searched the ruins for another Snake Shedding.

• Big Cat warned Lu PingAn that the Decapitation Sword might be driving his reckless desire to join a Rule-level battle, so he put it away and chose to harvest resources and wait for a safer chance to face Di Di Luo Na.
• Kun Ba’s group found a Snake Shedding and destroyed it, while Di Di Luo Na used Flesh Erasure against the Great Toad.
• The Great Toad endured the attack by forming a layer of dark rock, and Di Di Luo Na was badly wounded when the toad exploded into sharp black stones.
• Kun Ba decided his group should help the Great Toad, and their joint assault caused Di Di Luo Na to lose another life.

Lu PingAn reached the ruins and prepared to kill the snakefolk searching there after discovering that Abyss kills strengthened him.

• The Great Toad pursued the trio to Di Di Luo Na, and the two giant beasts collided again while the Snake King struggled to fight back.
• Lu PingAn’s group raced toward the ruins, where Chris reasoned that an object there enabled Di Di Luo Na’s localized reincarnation and Lu PingAn recalled the Scale Throne mission.

Lu PingAn discovered that the Phosphorus Throne was an immense scale that radiated deadly abyssal energy, then left before it could transform him. Back in the Courtyard, he learned that Master Wang had died and Kun Ba asked him to renegotiate their cooperation with Changping.

• Lu PingAn found the buried Phosphorus Throne and learned that its activation had drained the life essence from the guards while its radiation fed the Abyss Decapitation Sword.
• The sword absorbed the throne's abyssal aura, but Lu PingAn developed emerging horns and decided to leave; Zhi Xi and the snake stayed behind with the sword.

• Lu PingAn recognized that one of the two Snake Kings was a short-lived clone controlled by a split-off soul and that the Great Toad was already near death.
• The two Snake Kings tore An LiJie the Fool apart, leaving Lu PingAn's group to face the serpents themselves.
