That Great Toad had never imagined that someone would dare raid her home—and directly absorb a treasure that should theoretically have been impossible to take away.

As long as anyone touched the altar, she would immediately rush back. In the abyss, even a native creature with the slightest bit of intelligence would not dare offend an Abyss Floor Lord.

Contrary to Lu PingAn's earlier guess, the "Truth Word Stone Tablet" was an exceedingly precious treasure even in the abyss. An LiJie had paid a great price to trade for it from a true Abyss Lord. She had intended to borrow the One-Eyed Duke's power to deal with her nemesis, the Snake King!

She had originally planned to use all three opportunities herself. Now, she had only used one—and drawn junk at that. Both the treasure and she herself were still recovering when that little thief had swept away the entire lot. She was furious on the spot.

This time, she had actually been excluded from the "allied army," because the Snake King knew that if she came, the first one she would go after would definitely be one of her own side.

She had come on her own, intending to see whether she could find an opportunity to ambush the Snake King. Instead, her home had been raided. In a sense, she really was unlucky.
