Ch. 1868A Time for Development

Lu PingAn expanded his faction by welcoming refugees and developing new Orc evolutionary paths through Chris, who gained the divine office Mother of Myriad Beasts. The chapter ended with news that the Martial God—Tyrannical Three-Faced had been defeated and would leave the world.

  • Lu PingAn kept his faction open to newcomers so his growing reputation would attract followers, despite the spies gathering information about him.
  • Lu PingAn accepted that he might flee if powerful ancient gods moved to stop his development and said he had no duty to save this world.
  • Chris reported integrating 372 species and began mass-producing promising ones while creating new evolutionary branches for Orcs.
  • Chris gained the divine office Mother of Myriad Beasts, which made developing Orc branches easier and brought her recognition from the world.
  • Lu PingAn learned that the Martial God—Tyrannical Three-Faced had been defeated and would withdraw completely from the world.

Ch. 1869Heavenly Gift Package

After Tyrannical Three-Faced was defeated and forced to leave the world, Gan Qianyun asked Lu PingAn to shelter members of the scattered Martial God faction. Lu PingAn accepted them and planned to use the Martial God Church’s knowledge to strengthen his own combat Professions, while anticipating trouble from other Earth Gods.

  • Gan Qianyun told Lu PingAn that Tyrannical Three-Faced had lost but survived, and that many members of his faction had been left behind.
  • Gan Qianyun offered Lu PingAn companions willing to serve him, and Lu PingAn welcomed them without requiring them to abandon their former faith.
  • Lu PingAn agreed to take in an initial group of seven hundred people and an expected twelve thousand more, despite the risk of attracting pursuit.
  • Lu PingAn asked Chris to expand the fighter path with more Hero Profession options so his faction could benefit from the Martial God Church’s accumulated knowledge.

Ch. 1870An Overly Flexible Bottom Line

Lu PingAn used his reputation as a transaction intermediary to broker a trade of divine authorities, gaining resources for his faction while considering which species and authorities it still needed. As he explained his interventionist approach to governing subordinate gods, he crossed into the authority of a God King and completed the formation of his divine system.

  • Lu PingAn explained how inherited godhood, World Fragments, and the New World's exposed rule environments had accelerated his growth, while his subordinate gods gathered compatible resources.
  • A messenger brought Lu PingAn a proposed trade of Sky and Wind authority for a subordinate god slot and an Armored Dragon rule environment, and he oversaw the peaceful exchange for a ten-percent fee.
  • Lu PingAn stored the wind-and-sky gemstones in the Forbidden Library and added the Armored Dragon genetic module to Mother of Myriad Beasts' archive, then considered cultivating birdfolk and other species.
  • Lu PingAn told Chris that he saw himself as a parent and central-bank-like leader who intervened to promote mutual prosperity, rather than a tyrant or advocate of absolute free trade.
  • After another subordinate god was enfeoffed and his divine system settled into place, Lu PingAn touched upon the authority of a God King.

Ch. 1871Pseudo-God

Lu PingAn developed an Immature Form of his divine kingdom, gaining the ability to observe and adjust the land as its world grew through the work of his subordinate gods. By the chapter’s end, their interdependent cycle had brought him close to Tier 10 as a pseudo-god.

  • Lu PingAn explained that his subordinate gods’ growth also counted as his own, while Catherine’s Secretary Team struggled to manage the expanding divine kingdom.
  • Lu PingAn eased the Secretary Team’s anxiety with a snap and described how he could influence the environment and physical laws across his domain.
  • Lu PingAn sensed Zhi Xi training, Little Flame sleeping through an evolutionary phase, and Phil overseeing transactions as his subordinate gods maintained their domains.
  • Lu PingAn and Chris discussed how Tier 10 transformed an individual into a world and how Tier 11 might become a universal phenomenon.
  • Lu PingAn used the world’s rules to develop his divine kingdom, share its benefits with his subordinate gods and their descendants, and approach the state of a pseudo-Tier 10 god.

Ch. 1872Plan D

After aerial raiders exposed the Silver Fortress’s weakness, Lu PingAn ordered Plan D, a project to create flying dragons using gene modules from many worlds. The experiments continued amid setbacks, while Lu PingAn completed an Orc gene module for a small Eastern Kingdom-style dragon human.

  • Aerial attackers bombarded the Silver Fortress, and Lu PingAn and his allies intercepted them, but more than forty raiders escaped.
  • Lu PingAn identified the lack of aerial units as a weakness and activated Plan D, the Dragon Creation Plan.
  • Lu PingAn and his team discussed combining creature gene modules from different worlds to create fantasy divine beasts.
  • The researchers tested flying and diving dragon modules, but the flying dragon self-destructed and Diving Dragon No. 2341 drowned.
  • Lu PingAn completed his own Orc gene module, a Little Dragon Human with Eastern Kingdom characteristics.

Ch. 1873Evolution World

Lu PingAn examined how the Evolution World’s mutable rules and blurred boundary between matter and consciousness enabled life to evolve, then decided to create a flagship race of followers. After spending a massive amount of Life Points, he created the Eastern Fantasy Dragon-person, leaving the new species as the first step toward establishing his own presence in the mortal world.

  • Lu PingAn and Chris discussed how names, language, souls, and divine authority functioned as tangible forces in the Evolution World.
  • Lu PingAn explained that the world’s rules made its inhabitants capable of evolving, and that the Courtyard and his subordinate deities were growing by integrating those rules.
  • Lu PingAn recognized that he needed a race of followers as a genetic backbone and envisioned an adaptable dragonkin inspired by Eastern divine beasts.
  • Lu PingAn combined genetic modules and spent a massive amount of Life Points to create the Eastern Fantasy Dragon-person.
  • Lu PingAn said he had chosen a separate species name partly to avoid the risk of a civil war between New Humans and their heretical offshoot.

Ch. 1874Dragonkin

Lu PingAn oversaw the first successful transformation of young volunteers into Dragonkin, whose bodies incorporated Flame Dragon and Gold Dragon traits. The new race still needed to prove its growth and compatibility with professions, and Lu PingAn realized it would also need a Race God.

  • Lu PingAn watched Liu Xiping emerge from the Incubation Pool as a taller, more handsome Dragonkin with horns and controllable scales.
  • Lu PingAn’s team confirmed that the Sun Vine’s Sacred Fire Cells had fused successfully, giving Liu Xiping the Flame Dragon trait.
  • Hua Xueyi confirmed the Gold Dragon cellular module had also taken hold, granting Liu Xiping golden scales, horns, and nails.
  • Liu Xiping reported that his physical fitness had increased at least fourfold, though his new metallic skin remained brittle and sparse.
  • Lu PingAn ordered the Dragonkin to adapt and grow before further experiments, prioritizing their development into Law Decree-level Professionals and recommending his Hero profession.
  • As the team evaluated the Dragonkin’s potential, Lu PingAn recognized that the new race would need a Race God.

Ch. 1875Ajiu

Lu PingAn explained Ajiu’s extraordinary origins and the limits imposed by the blessings he gave her. Ajiu chose to become a dragon, and Lu PingAn began supporting her transformation in the Incubation Pool.

  • Lu PingAn recalled how his ambitious blessings had made Ajiu a powerful but incomplete being unable to evolve normally.
  • Ajiu rejected the Abyss’s path of growing through slaughter because she found it tiring and feared becoming ugly.
  • Lu PingAn asked whether Ajiu wanted to change, and she chose to become an older sister with hands and feet.
  • Lu PingAn began Ajiu’s transformation in the Incubation Pool, where she drew on the world’s origin and returned to the source of her birth.
  • Lu PingAn watched materials arrive for Ajiu’s dragon form, whose core component would be his bloodline.

Ch. 1876Falling Apart

Lu PingAn learned that the world’s defenses were collapsing as outsiders invaded, ancient gods abandoned or betrayed the Pantheon, and the world’s laws began transforming local life into otherworldly creatures. Chris warned him that the coming Demon Hour would be even worse than the destruction of the Silent Mountain Range World, while the Savior Army emerged with uncertain motives.

  • The gods learned that ancient gods had ignored the summons, left the Underground World, or defected to the invaders, opening new entry points for outsiders.
  • Reports revealed that the Surface World had become a living hell, the Underground World had descended into chaotic warfare, and the sky’s widening breach brought signs of an approaching catastrophe.
  • Lu PingAn and Chris saw local soil, rocks, and hills outside the City of Silver turn into Rock Monsters and Ground-Drilling Evil Sharks as otherworldly forces invaded the world’s laws.
  • Chris told Lu PingAn that the Moon God’s world had lost not only its god but also its physical moon and the concept of the moon.
  • Chris warned Lu PingAn that this world’s greater value would draw even more invaders and make its coming Demon Hour more devastating than the Silent Mountain Range World’s end.
  • Lu PingAn learned that the Savior Army had appeared, though Chris suspected it wanted to secure a better price for itself rather than truly save the world.

Ch. 1877An Unconventional Savior

Lu PingAn rejected the Savior Alliance’s offer to divide the world, deciding instead to focus on building up the City of Silver rather than saving a world he despised. As the alliance repeatedly fractured and alien invaders appeared everywhere, the rift in the sky continued to widen.

  • A messenger from the Savior Alliance offered Lu PingAn’s group a share of the world, and Lu PingAn let him leave without agreeing to join.
  • Lu PingAn and Chris concluded that the messenger could be both an agent of the invaders and a member of the alliance, recruiting traitors while identifying local powers that resisted.
  • Lu PingAn explained that he hated the world because its rulers treated life as ammunition and deliberately suppressed the growth of civilization and intelligence.
  • Chris agreed that they should continue building up the City of Silver, and teased Lu PingAn after he asked whether she disliked the world too.
  • The Savior Alliance split apart more than four times in a month as chaos spread, the sky’s rift widened, and alien invaders appeared in every direction.

Ch. 1878Fantasy Beast

Lu PingAn absorbed more of the collapsing world into the Courtyard and discovered that Dragonborn were being born among the newborns in his protected region. He developed their racial talents while preserving their freedom to choose their own paths.

  • Lu PingAn recognized that the Surface World and Underground World were collapsing, and that newborns in the Underground World included corrupted foreign-realm creatures.
  • As the world weakened, Lu PingAn expanded the City of Silver’s protected area and absorbed more of the world into the Courtyard.
  • Dragonborn Young Dragons appeared among the newborns, and Lu PingAn guided them toward becoming Professionals while investigating their varied talents.
  • Lu PingAn decided not to lock the Dragonborn into predetermined combat roles, keeping their choices open despite their innate branch traits.
  • After Ajiu became a subordinate god, the Dragonborn developed the Dragon Snake Bones and Muscles talent, which combined with their Golden Dragon and Fire Dragon traits to form a growing system.

Ch. 1879Dimension Ascendant

Lu PingAn’s understanding of existence and divine authority deepened as his influence over his descendants helped raise the dimension of his power. He gained the ability to create life from the void and realized he could reshape life beyond the world’s limits, leaving his version poised to advance further.

  • Lu PingAn recognized that his descendants’ lives and actions extended his existence, and compared his nature to Firebird and the Twelve Pillars.
  • Lu PingAn’s rising authority increased the value of Life Points, lowering service prices and transaction costs for Traders.
  • Lu PingAn created a forest outside the City of Silver without planting seeds, realizing his Investment could now purchase life from the void.
  • Lu PingAn understood that he could reshape life in other worlds using his genetic modules and knowledge, though he still fell far short of beings like Eight-Clawed, Firebird, and the Abyss.
  • Lu PingAn’s power advanced as the pantheon’s God King, while Chris watched with envy and his version began rising toward restricted abilities.

Ch. 1880The Approaching Apocalypse

As the Heavenly World’s collapse accelerated, Lu PingAn learned that its nightmares were the world’s own cry for help and that its alliance had fractured into rival factions. He concluded the world was beyond saving as even its ancient gods appeared to be abandoning it.

  • Lu PingAn realized he could claim fragments of the shattered world and merge them into his Ark, while the enormous breach in the sky continued to widen.
  • After experiencing the nightmares himself, Lu PingAn learned they came from the wounded world and carried memories of regions and people already swallowed.
  • Lu PingAn contacted the world-saving alliance and learned it had split into six factions, with nightmares deepening their divisions.
  • Lu PingAn concluded the world’s assembly-line system prevented anyone from surpassing it and suspected its ancient gods had been driven to rebel.
  • Lu PingAn decided the world was beyond saving when he realized even its highest-ranking gods were likely selling it out.

Ch. 1881Divine Might

Lu PingAn brokered a major exchange of authorities, raised his fees to deter gods from exploiting his Trading Ground, and used the commissions to strengthen his Divine Realm. He created a Storm Flight factor and asked Ajiu to develop flying dragons, but the first attempt ended in explosions.

  • Lu PingAn completed an exchange of authorities between two gods and collected a thirty-percent commission plus two treasures.
  • Lu PingAn raised his transaction tax and began demanding Rule-level treasures as admission fees after realizing gods had been testing his defenses.
  • Lu PingAn absorbed the Principle of Levitation into his Courtyard and combined storm and flight authorities to create a Storm Flight factor.
  • Lu PingAn asked Ajiu to incorporate the factor into the Dragonfolk gene pool to develop flying dragons.
  • Ajiu induced Dragonfolk to mutate toward flight, but the attempt caused explosions and screams.

Ch. 1882Great Legion

Lu PingAn's forces completed a major renewal as Ajiu's Dragonfolk race grew rapidly and the legions evolved. As another pantheon declared war on his faction, Lu PingAn's preparations left the story on the brink of the Twilight of the Gods.

  • Ajiu's transformation succeeded, and the growing Dragonfolk race raised her power and Lu PingAn's own Dragonfolk traits.
  • Lu Mouren welcomed visiting gods' gem fragments, which gave the Dragonkin new possibilities for evolution.
  • Lu PingAn's forces developed into a hierarchy of Orcs, the vast Burning Legion, Zhi Xi's metal guards, Fang Wen's machines, Hua Xueyi's Metal Humanoids, and Dragonfolk commanders.
  • Lu PingAn kept accumulating strength despite his subordinates' calls to profit from war, while Mu Mu and Eve's independent kin expanded abroad.
  • Another pantheon declared war on Lu PingAn's faction as the world's false peace broke down.

Ch. 1883Choice

After the First Wave, Lu PingAn watched the world descend into endless war as its defenses collapsed and the Outer Gods invaded to consume its existence. Seeing Chris, Little Flame, and Eve beside him, he chose to activate the Ark Plan rather than flee.

  • Lu PingAn assessed that the war would have no end after his forces survived the First Wave and the fighting around them quieted.
  • As distrust and violence spread across the world, Lu PingAn sensed vast numbers of lives fading and the world crying out for help.
  • The world’s rifts widened, allowing Outer Gods and otherworldly creatures to enter and destroy Divine Realms.
  • Lu PingAn realized the invaders were consuming the world’s existence and turning its lands into their own Divine Realms.
  • Lu PingAn saw Chris, Little Flame, and Eve beside him and ordered the Ark Plan activated.

Ch. 1884Hope's Light

As the world fell apart under the Outer Gods’ assault, Lu PingAn declared himself the God of Redemption for life and raised the City of Silver as an Ark. He planted hundreds of emergency Lighthouses to offer mortals a chance to escape, but an attack struck the City of Silver as he reached his limit.

  • Black Void Nails tore into the world, splitting its land and dimensions as Lu PingAn recognized it could not be saved.
  • Lu PingAn expanded his Courtyard by consuming part of the defenseless world and declared his divine office as the God of Redemption for life.
  • Lu PingAn transformed the City of Silver into a colossal floating Ark and began raising it above the breaking ground.
  • Lu PingAn activated Lamp Tree seeds planted by Hua Xueyi's caravan, creating hundreds of temporary Lighthouses that let survivors call for redemption.
  • Lu PingAn reached his limit maintaining the Lighthouses, and a fierce attack struck the City of Silver from below.

Ch. 1885Original Sin

Kasuga and Zeta Duna struggled to protect their peaceful, mostly unskilled herbivore people as war, famine, and pressure to become carnivores left them with no safe path. Just as they faced the possibility of falling into the Demonic Path, a radiant ancient tree appeared, announcing the Lord of Eternal Life as a possible source of salvation.

  • Kasuga recalled how becoming a man-eating rabbit had horrified her, while the cruel world forced weaker races and pacifists to fight or perish.
  • Zeta Duna admitted she did not know how to protect her people as battles spread around their hiding place and the land and food supply deteriorated.
  • Herbivores began turning into carnivores from hunger, and the tribe grew suspicious of warriors who still had strength.
  • Kasuga and Zeta Duna considered whether their people should change to survive, but feared that doing so would make them like their enemies.
  • Zeta Duna told the warriors to decide for themselves as the possibility of falling into the Demonic Path loomed.
  • A beam of light revealed a gigantic golden-radiant ancient tree, whose voice declared, "I am the Lord of Eternal Life, the Redeemer of Life."

Ch. 1886Fireflies

Lu PingAn’s Lamp Trees offered redemption to those who prayed beneath them, while assassins and spies targeted the City of Silver. As the Ark of Salvation began to fly, a powerful god offered to become Lu PingAn’s subordinate god in exchange for sheltering its people.

  • Lu PingAn worried about how many lives the redemption light could save before it went out, while Cat Cat helped Lu Mouren hunt for infiltrators.
  • Cat Cat found Zhi Xi hiding in a spatial layer, and Zhi Xi and the Living Armors struck the void until its instability exposed the infiltrator.
  • Lu PingAn continued channeling power through the Lamp Trees, whose redemption ritual gained the world’s support and the ability to save more lives.
  • A god teleported to Lu PingAn and offered to become his subordinate god in exchange for sheltering its people.
  • The Ark of Salvation took flight, and Lu PingAn decided to meet the prospective subordinate god and recruit the combat power he needed.

Ch. 1887The Weary Savior

Lu PingAn established his Redemption by offering salvation in exchange for Ship Tickets or future labor, and Zeta Duna accepted his contract as a subordinate god. As the City of Silver remained under attack, he kept the lamplight burning and prepared for a prolonged effort to gather refugees and strengthen his faction.

  • Lu PingAn explained that his salvation had limits and required a Ship Ticket or repayment through future labor.
  • Lu PingAn and Cat Cat recognized Zeta Duna as a fellow killer, while Chris watched the new subordinate god with hostility.
  • Zeta Duna accepted Lu PingAn's contract to protect the area, and he assigned Catherine to settle her people and introduce them to the Courtyard's benefits.
  • Lu PingAn told Zeta Duna she could receive a baptism to evolve by a tier as the Silver Fortress endured continued attacks.
  • Lu PingAn maintained the lamplight from hundreds of Lamp Trees and resolved to keep gathering refugees despite the danger.
