The next day, Desman summoned Lynn again.

This time, he said nothing. He merely tossed Lynn a ring. "Lynn, this is a Spatial Ring that would be considered precious even to a Saint Domain Expert. Inside are a weapon I prepared for you, a map of the Dark Mountain Range, and some daily supplies!"

"A Spatial Ring!" Lynn could not help showing a look of astonishment. He had never expected that the things Teacher Desman had prepared for him would include a Spatial Ring.

A Spatial Ring might be nothing in a divine plane, but in a Material Plane, it was an extremely precious treasure. Most of the time, only Saint Domain Experts possessed one. Even among Ninth-level Warriors, only a very few could obtain a Spatial Ring.

"Thank you, Teacher!" Lynn hurriedly expressed his thanks.

With a Spatial Ring for storing daily necessities and various supplies, his upcoming training journey would become much more convenient.

Desman looked at Lynn solemnly. "I hope you will not overestimate yourself or act rashly. Come back alive!"

Lynn immediately sensed the space contained within the ring. That space was packed with food, salt, spices, clothes, and other supplies. Besides those, there was also a huge rolled-up map and an enormous earth-yellow greatsword.

With a thought, the greatsword and map appeared in his hands.

Grayrock Battle Qi excelled in strength and defense, so warriors who cultivated Grayrock Battle Qi all favored weapons such as staffs, greatswords, and hammers. Lynn was no exception. His weapon was a greatsword, but his own had already been destroyed in that devastating storm.

Grasping the hilt with both hands, Lynn silently sensed the weapon's properties as Teacher Desman explained beside him, "This greatsword was forged from Earthstone by someone I hired. Even Saint Domain Experts would find it difficult to destroy. It should last you a long time. Give it a name!"

After explaining the greatsword's origins, Teacher Desman continued, "The Dark Mountain Range stretches for tens of thousands of miles and is home to countless demonic beasts. There is no shortage of Saint Domain Demonic Beasts among them, and there is even a Demonic Beast King! This map records several forbidden areas discovered by adventurers in the Dark Mountain Range. It should be of great help during your training and adventures!"

After bidding Teacher Desman farewell, Lynn set out alone, dressed in fitted black warrior's attire and carrying the earth-yellow greatsword, Qian Jun, on his back.

Qian Jun was the name Lynn had given the greatsword!

After leaving Grayrock Manor, he headed west. In less than half a day, he crossed two human duchies and reached the edge of the Dark Mountain Range.

Along the way, he saw huge groups of humans, families in tow, migrating south under military escort. Meanwhile, the lands they vacated were swiftly occupied by the Beastmen rushing in behind them.

Humans had become vassals of the Beastmen. Not only did they have to offer faith to the Beast God, they also had to surrender roughly half their territory.

This was only because the Beast God needed human Faith Power, which was why he had adopted this gradual method of encroachment, slowly allowing the Beastmen to multiply.

In the future, if no outside force intervened, humanity would lose vast tracts of land and suffer a drastic population decline, while the Beastman population would rapidly swell.

After another hundred years or so, once the Beastmen had multiplied through several generations and their population had risen, humanity might once again be forced to abandon most of its territory to make room for Beastman survival!

In the end, extinction awaited humanity!

"Just wait, Beastmen!" Lynn glanced back at the land behind him, then stepped into the Dark Mountain Range without hesitation!

The Orlando Continent stretched roughly eighty thousand miles from east to west and thirty thousand miles from north to south. The Dark Mountain Range lay at its center, running majestically from north to south and dividing the continent into two great regions: the Eastern Continent and the Western Continent.

Several thousand miles wide, the Dark Mountain Range stretched endlessly, nearly cutting off travel between the two continents. Only a few mountain passes allowed passage.

The place where Lynn entered the Dark Mountain Range was in its central-southern region.

He intended to venture deep into the heart of the Dark Mountain Range, then continue south through its interior until he reached the South Sea at the end of the continent—a total journey of roughly fifteen thousand miles.

The core region of the Dark Mountain Range was deserted year-round. Demonic beasts of the seventh, eighth, and even ninth levels appeared here from time to time. Perhaps only Ninth-level Warriors would dare cross the Dark Mountain Range. Yet this time, Lynn had entered its central region and planned to travel south along the mountain range's central axis.

The Qian Jun Greatsword appeared in Lynn's hand. As he walked, he lightly swung the greatsword, trying to sense the Heaven and Earth Momentum.

Before he realized it, night had fallen over the Dark Mountain Range.
