"Do you know what happened to those two people you beat up yesterday?"
After putting on a stern, righteous expression and glancing outside, Yahan furtively shut the door and drew the curtains, looking thoroughly amused.
"One had problems with his sternum, and I broke one of his fingers. Someone came and told me just now. Is that why you called me here?"
Jiaming sat down in the chair behind the desk and casually switched on the computer, fiddling with it. Yahan shot him an irritated look. "You still have to put on a show. There was another one, and he was worse off..."
"Both thumbs fractured, probably lost seven or eight teeth, definitely a dislocated jaw. Nothing too serious, though. Not sure whether his nose was broken... Why isn't this computer connected to the internet?"
"I don't even know how to use the internet... Get away, that's my seat!" Yahan walked over with a smile, then plopped herself down on the desk, blocking the screen. "Good thing I went over there for you last night and hinted that you had the Huang Family backing you up. They probably won't dare make too big a fuss. But I heard you agreed to a one-on-one match with those martial arts club people?"
"Are you really an exchange student?" Jiaming turned the monitor in another direction. "I wasn't the one who agreed to the match. That Dongfang Wan in my class—is she from the Dongfang Family? I was planning to stand them up this afternoon."
Yahan burst out laughing and nudged the chair armrest with her high heel. "Wishful thinking. Dongfang Wan's older brother, Dongfang Lu, is the student council president. She and Huang Haobing vouched for you, and you didn't object on the spot. If you try to run, I guarantee you
