• Xue Luochuan led Chang’an’s defense against Xue Qinghe’s thirty-thousand-strong army, and Li Xin routed the attackers, killed Snake Lance Douluo, and captured Xue Qinghe.
• Xue Luochuan expanded Chang’an’s territory while Emperor Xue Ye ordered a two-hundred-thousand-strong expedition led by Yu Yuanzhen, and Spirit Hall and Xing Luo watched the conflict.
• Xue Luochuan summoned Hua Mulan, Kai, Baili Shouyue, Baili Xuance, and Su Lie, then sent them to defend the outer cities.

Kai and Chang’an defeated the invading armies, then Xue Luochuan exposed Spirit Hall’s deception and fortified the realm. Jixia Academy opened and revealed powerful training methods, drawing attention from rival powers as Chang’an faced renewed economic pressure.

• Kai fought Yu Yuanzhen in dragon form and forced the Heaven Dou forces to withdraw, while the five generals’ arrival drove the Star Luo army from Chang’an’s southern pass.
• Xue Luochuan made the captured Skywater Academy students his attendants, and Qian Renxue realized Chang’an had won the war.
• Bibi Dong formed an alliance against Chang’an, but Xue Luochuan revealed Qian Renxue’s identity as the false Xue Qinghe and turned Tian Dou and Spirit Hall against each other.
• Xue Luochuan ordered the construction of the Great Wall, purged corrupt officials, and sent Hua Mulan, Baili Xuance, and Kai to capture three Tian Dou cities.

Chang'an Empire seized Gengxin City, built up its Battle Armor Corps, and expanded its influence by recruiting Dugu Bo and attacking powerful factions in Tian Dou. The stretch leaves Li Bai facing Chen Xin in their final sword exchange after defeating his strongest attack.

• Xue Luochuan sent Mozi to capture Gengxin City, where Mozi defeated Dai Rui with the Peace Watcher mech and secured the city for Chang'an.
• Scorpion Mozi used the Mechanical Azure Dragon to destroy Xing Luo's Hell White Tiger and hold Gengxin City until reinforcements arrived.
• Mozi made Gengxin City the Mohist Mechanical City, while Lou Gao joined the Mohist Mechanical Way and Chang'an developed its Battle Armor Corps.
• Bian Que defeated Dugu Bo at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Eyes, recruited him to Chang'an, and arranged for Dugu Yan to enter Xue Luochuan's palace.

Two years later, Tang San returned to find the resistance collapsing, and he fled after Sun Ce and Da Qiao destroyed Dragon Snake City’s defenders.

• Li Bai defeated Chen Xin, and Ning Fengzhi pledged the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to Chang'an while arranging Ning Rongrong’s marriage to Xue Luochuan.
• Tian Dou, Xing Luo, and Spirit Hall joined forces against Chang'an, but Han Xin seized Heaven Dou City with three thousand troops and Di Renjie captured Xue Ye.
• Xue Luochuan renamed the capital Chang'an City and ordered Zhao Yun to retake rebellious cities, where Zhao Yun killed Yang Wudi and captured City of Breaking.
• Zhang Fei killed Titan, and Huang Zhong broke Niu Gao’s defenses, killed him, and captured City of Control.
• Ma Chao defeated Bai He’s ambush and took Bai Chenxiang hostage, while Bai He surrendered the Speed Clan to protect her.
• Two years later, Tang San returned to Shrek City and joined its forces in defending Dragon Snake City from Chang'an’s army.
• Sun Ce and Da Qiao overwhelmed the defenders with fire and water, killed Dragon Duke and Snake Dowager, and drove Tang San to flee.
