"Three islands, unite!"
Wanhua's voice was not loud, yet it seemed to contain the mighty power of Word of Law, clearly spreading across the East Sea and even echoing through the minds of the many Great Powers watching in secret.
As his words fell, the vast might of a Primordial Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal descended like an invisible giant hand, forcefully acting upon the three famed immortal islands beyond the sea!
Chaos Returns to Origin, Reshaping Earth and Fire
Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou—these three islands had been formed from fragments of chaos and had stood in the East Sea since the Primordial Era first settled.
Each was a sacred immortal land protected by supreme restrictions, containing boundless fortune and peril. Yet at this moment, all three began to shake violently!
"Rumble—!"
The East Sea boiled! Billions of acres of seawater were driven apart by an invisible force, forming bottomless chasms before turning into towering waves that roared outward in every direction.
The chaotic restrictions at the foundations of the three immortal islands were forcibly triggered, erupting with dazzling immortal light as they tried to resist this foreign, overbearing force of fusion.
Within that immortal light, phantoms of ancient ferocious beasts roared, innate formation patterns flickered madly, and the primal forces of Earth, Water, Fire, Wind gushed forth as though out of control!
Yet before the power of the Primordial Zenith, these restrictions and perils—enough to make Golden Immortals of the Great Luo fall and Quasi-Saints shrink back—were like paper, easily torn apart and smoothed away!
Wanhua stood suspended amid the Chaos Qi Flow, his expression calm as endless Dao-principle runes circulated within his eyes.
He was not destroying them through brute force. Instead, he used his own Primordial Chaos Literary Qi as a guide.
Relying on the deducing power of the Myriad Dao Celestial Tome, he forcibly sorted out and harmonized the violent, chaotic aura of chaos within the origins of the three islands.
Earth, Water, Fire, Wind replayed beneath the guidance of his will, while the clear and turbid qi were divided anew under the boundaries set by his principles!
Shattered mountain ranges were kneaded and joined together by invisible force, forming even more majestic and extraordinary dragon-vein ridges that secretly aligned with the configuration of Zhou Tian Xing Dou;
The scattered spirit veins were forcibly gathered and sorted, becoming nine immense ancestral innate spirit veins that resembled crouching colossal dragons, guarding the future core;
The violent primordial chaos qi was tamed and refined, transformed into a denser newborn spiritual qi carrying traces of "order" and literary splendor, blanketing the surroundings like a thin mist.
Creating All Things, Imprinting the Literary Dao
It was not merely the Earth Veins and spiritual qi that Wanhua reshaped. His will seeped even deeper, penetrating every corner of this newborn continent.
With a thought, plains spread across the continent, fertile soil stretching for thousands of miles, fit for cultivation and habitation;
Mountain ranges rose, strange peaks competing in beauty, concealing gold, jade, and mineral veins;
Rivers rushed onward, lakes and seas dotted the land, and the misty water vapor brimmed with liveliness. This was not natural evolution, but an orderly creation almost like that of a creator god!
Countless exotic flowers, strange grasses, Immortal Flora and Spiritual Roots grew from thin air. They were no longer merely heavenly treasures containing spiritual qi—their forms, patterns, even the aura they emitted, All faintly conformed to a certain rhythm of principle. There was "Literary Bamboo," shaped like calligraphy brushes.
There were "Dao Banyans," whose leaves naturally bore patterns of written characters, and "Wanhua Orchids," whose blossoms opened like unfurling scrolls...
Phantoms of rare birds and exotic beasts condensed within the rosy light. Immortal cranes cried clear calls, spirit deer uttered gentle cries; their eyes shone with intelligence, lacking the savage ferocity of Primordial Era beasts.
In its place was a greater air of auspiciousness and wisdom, as though they had been born naturally suited to this Literary Dao environment.
Myriad Dao Academy Rises from the Ground
Once the continent's foundation had fully stabilized, with its mountains, rivers, and all living things complete, Wanhua turned his gaze toward the very center of the continent, where spiritual qi gathered most densely and the terrain was most grand—the nexus of the dragon veins.
He waved his hand again. His Primordial Chaos Literary Qi became both the most dexterous craftsman and the greatest painter, beginning to sketch the outlines of buildings.
The foundation was not made of ordinary earth and timber, but of ten-thousand-year cold jade drawn from the seabed and indestructible goldstone from the earth's core.
Mixed with chaotic primordial soil and forged with gentle literary fire, it was incomparably solid, able to gather spiritual qi and nurture the Literary Heart.
Walls rose from the ground—not brick, not stone, but laws as their bones and literary qi as their mortar, condensed like glazed white jade.
Upon them naturally emerged endless scenes of the sun, moon, and stars; mountains and rivers; ancient sages expounding the Dao; and the evolution of writing, as though weighty epics of civilization had been engraved upon their surfaces.
Colonnades rose high, with carved beams and painted rafters. Every stroke and carving contained the Subtle Words, Profound Meaning of the Confucian Dao. Walking among them, if one could comprehend even a little, it would surely greatly benefit one's cultivation.
The glazed tiles were clear as mirrors, reflecting the radiance of heaven and earth and transforming sunlight and moonlight into gentle Aura of Literary Splendor that scattered over the academy.
Pavilions and towers stood in harmonious arrangement, secretly corresponding to the Eight Trigrams and Nine Palaces.
They also contained areas embodying the uniquely Confucian Dao concepts of "investigating things," "extending knowledge," "sincerity of intent," "rectifying the heart," "cultivating oneself," "regulating the family," "governing the state," and "bringing peace to the world."
The Scripture Repository, Hall of Discussing the Dao, Hall of Quiet Contemplation, Martial Practice Field—in truth, the Literary Practice Field—and all else were fully provided for, each with a distinct function.
At last, before the entire complex of buildings, a towering paifang gate of the most magnificent bearing rose solemnly, as though it bore the weight of all Daos.
Above its lintel hung a giant plaque, neither metal nor wood, but condensed from the Chaos Qi Flow.
Upon it were written four great Dao characters, their strokes dancing like dragons and serpents, containing endless Dao resonance. They were—
Myriad Dao Academy!
The moment those four words appeared, the entire newborn continent seemed to be infused with its final soul!
Boundless Aura of Literary Splendor surged skyward from the academy, answering the nine ancestral dragon spirit veins.
High in the heavens, they intertwined into a vast Auspicious Cloud formed from Dao-principle characters, radiating a unique aura of tranquility, wisdom, order, and all-embracing tolerance.
This enormous floating continent, formed from the fusion of Three Immortals Island, officially became the dao field of Myriad Dao Academy!
Its scale, its dense spiritual qi, its wondrous fortune, its unique laws.
In an instant, it surpassed the vast majority of known Blessed Lands in the Primordial World, second only to the sanctuaries of certain peak Great Powers.
Yet even more striking was that aura—utterly different from the mainstream currents of the Primordial World: slaughter, conquest, seclusion, inaction, and the like—the aura of Civilization and enlightenment!
Wanhua descended, his feet touching the white-jade plaza before the academy gates. He felt the profound connection between the continent beneath his feet, his own Literary Heart, and the origin of the Myriad Dao Celestial Tome.
This was his foundation in the Primordial World, the starting point from which the Confucian Dao would spread.
His gaze swept across this miracle he had created with his own hands, and a faint look of satisfaction appeared on his face.
Then he raised his head. His gaze seemed to pierce through boundless space as he looked once more toward the many divine senses spying upon him, a half-smiling curve touching his lips.
It was time to add another fire to the Primordial World. He cleared his throat, and his calm yet distinct voice once more resounded within the minds of countless Great Powers:
"Fellow Daoists of the Primordial World, I am Wanhua. Here in the East Sea, I have established the Myriad Dao Academy, practicing Education for All and passing down the methods of my Confucian Dao."
"The academy has only just opened, and it still lacks a few disciples to sweep the courtyards and tend to the books."
"Which fellow Daoist would be willing to come and give it a try?"
As his voice spread, the Primordial World fell silent once again. A dignified Primordial Chaos Sage was inviting people to become disciples who swept the floor?
What kind of... transcendence was this? What kind of... "unrestrained spirit"? Or what kind of... confidence and provocation?
Countless gazes instantly became incomparably complicated.
