Within the Taixu Realm, Taixu Mountain welcomed another dawn. The night sky seemed especially brilliant, always stirring reveries. When recalling the past, mist appeared and vanished intermittently.

At that time, she seemed to see a figure—a small figure, yet one that stubbornly followed by her side.

That shadow was so blurred that Crimson Kite thought it was all an illusion.

Dawn arrived and dispersed all the mist. The morning was the key to the day, and at such times, Crimson Kite was always the earliest figure seen in Shrek. Even in this uninhabited place, she still maintained this habit.

The morning air was at its coolest, and the Soul Power drifting through it was also at its purest. Cultivating at this moment would yield twice the result with half the effort.

Though she did not know whether this place possessed so-called Soul Power, some sort of energy did indeed drift through the air. Unlike Honkai Energy, which was filled with a violent aura, this energy was pure—so pure that it seemed to cleanse the human heart once more.

Within the Taixu Realm, this energy was immensely abundant. In some places, it could even be seen clearly with the naked eye.

Milky-white liquid drifted through the air. Countless spirit beasts stirred at its presence, lying beside it one after another and absorbing the abundant energy within.

And Taixu Mountain, located at the heart of the Taixu Realm, possessed such a dense concentration of this energy that it had completely liquefied. Some fell upon leaves, while some flowed into streams. The entire Taixu Mountain seemed shrouded in white mist, giving it the air of an immortal sanctuary.

An hour after Crimson Kite rose early, the sun climbed in the east and hung high overhead. Its warm pale-yellow light shone into Taixu Mountain, reflecting seven-colored radiance through the white mist.

Before the Fuyun Temple, a place as though from an immortal realm, Crimson Kite sat cross-legged upon a meditation cushion. The aura around her rose and fell, mixed with three different energies: one tyrannical, one peaceful, and one that seemed capable of accommodating all things.

The three energies manifested as three different lights: tyrannical violet-white, peaceful pale yellow, and milky white, which accommodated all things and harmonized the two differing energies.

Honkai Energy, Soul Power, Primal Force.

The three-colored radiance bloomed. As she breathed in clouds and exhaled mist, they seemed to be slowly merging, yet more often than not, they clashed without yielding to one another.

The seemingly peaceful Soul Power actually possessed an unyielding stubbornness. Naturally, when it collided with the tyrannical Honkai Energy, it refused to be assimilated.

Primal Force, meanwhile, was originally an indispensable power in the evolution of worlds. When a brand-new continent was born in the universe, it would receive nourishment from some unknown place within the cosmos, producing a great amount of Primal Force to promote the continent's evolution and allow it to continue changing.

Yet Primal Force was scarce and precious. Anyone who encountered it would generally gather it bit by bit, preparing for the day they would break through to godhood and attain sainthood.

Primal Force was the foundation from which all things evolved. Becoming a god was not the end of the road. Beyond gods lay Saints—the true realm of sages, who enjoyed eternity and could reverse the cycle of fate and reincarnation.

Even allowing a continent to begin anew would be no difficult task, for Saints were the beginning of everything and the end of everything. As for whether anything existed beyond that end, one would only know upon reaching it.

Yet the realm of Saints was only a vague concept. There was simply no one in the world capable of attaining sainthood. The highest realm was no more than that of a Supreme God, an existence of the first rank of creation.

A mighty being capable of creating a world.

If Supreme Gods were creators of worlds, then Saints were beings who existed before creation itself, who opened the path for creation. Though that was rather convoluted to say, it still showed how powerful Saints were.

Unfortunately, no one in the present day could reach the realm of Saints, and even their abilities remained a vague concept. But that alone demonstrated the importance of Primal Force.

Places where one could encounter such dense Primal Force generally did not exist. It either gradually vanished during the evolution of a world-continent or was diluted into ordinary spiritual energy by the passage of time.

For Crimson Kite to cultivate with such dense Primal Force on Taixu Mountain was simply a waste of heavenly treasure. But luck was also a cultivator's ability. Who could have imagined that Crimson Kite would stumble upon an ownerless world by sheer accident on Douluo Continent?

As for whether it had been accidental or deliberately arranged by someone, that was not something she could influence—at least, not yet.

Five breaths later, Crimson Kite finally exhaled a breath of turbid air, ending her cultivation and sitting quietly.

She opened her crimson eyes and looked at the white mist before Fuyun Temple, now so dense that it obscured her view. She could not help but sigh.

"If this continues, this mountain will be completely hidden from sight."

She clenched her fists and sensed the strength in her body. It seemed to have become tougher, while her skin had grown glossier and fairer.

"This mist is harmless to the human body. On the contrary, it can promote further evolution of the body, and also..."

The roars of spirit beasts breaking through reached her ears again. The beastly roars were filled with human-like excitement, but after three cries, they fell silent once more—until the next spirit beast broke through.

This was the sound Crimson Kite had heard most frequently over the past few days. Ever since this white mist had appeared over Taixu Mountain, many unknown spirit beasts had gathered at its foot.

Perhaps sensing Jingwei's aura, they merely remained at the mountain's base. If one looked down from high above at this moment, they would discover that countless herds of spirit beasts had surrounded Taixu Mountain so tightly that not even water could pass through.

They were densely packed, enough to make one's heart tremble at a single glance.

"Not only is it helping those spirit beasts break through, but it seems my cultivation is increasing as well."

Her Soul Power, originally stalled at level forty, felt as though it had expanded further. There had been no actual breakthrough in her Soul Power, but its capacity seemed to have grown greater, and even its purity had become more refined.

The violet-white Honkai Energy that had settled within her body was also stirred, further tempering her physique.

Her meridians, bones, muscles, and skin all seemed to gleam with violet-white radiance.

Soul Power flowed through her meridians, constantly striking against every acupoint. Even the unrecorded acupoints hidden deep within her body were visited one by one, their obstructions broken through and the impurities within them scoured clean before being expelled through her skin.

Black filth now surfaced in specks across Crimson Kite's skin, which should have been immaculate and flawless. Some were old hidden injuries within her body, while others were meridians that had yet to be completely cleansed.

Under the effects of Primal Force, they were discovered one by one, making Crimson Kite's body ever purer and bringing it closer to a state free of dust and impurity.

As the three forces continued to work together, tiny strands of power gathered and fused, forming an entirely new energy system that settled within Crimson Kite's body. Though weak, it continued to grow without end.

No matter how incompatible Soul Power and Honkai Energy were, under Primal Force, small traces of energy could still merge. With drop-by-drop accumulation, they would eventually become a surging ocean.

"It seems I've found another path."

She clenched her fists, a strange light blooming in her crimson eyes.

"But... I should wash up first! There's something on me..."

The toxins from old injuries and the filth expelled from within her body gathered together, forming a thin cocoon over her skin. The smell that continuously wafted from it made Crimson Kite frown without pause.

It really was far too foul!

She rose, flashed forward, and did not pause in the slightest as she headed toward the lake not far ahead.

That was the scenic waterfall Still Water within Taixu Mountain, which Crimson Kite had named Zhishui Lake.

The lake's surface was as still as stagnant water, incapable of stirring even the slightest ripple. Even if a stone were thrown into it, it could not produce the faintest wave. It perfectly corresponded to the state of mind one sought in cultivation—still water—hence its name.

Before Zhishui Lake, Crimson Kite came to a stop. Morning light filtered through the bamboo leaves in thin strands, passing through the white mist and casting seven-colored rainbow light across the lake's surface, reaching all the way to its bottom.

A trace of hesitation flashed through her crimson eyes, but it was quickly replaced by resolve.

Her thin crimson robe slipped away, revealing youthful skin, fair and lustrous. It appeared and disappeared amid the clouds and mist, drawing the eye. Unfortunately, there was no one here; otherwise, it would have made for another kind of view.

With every obstruction removed, her silver-white hair spilled loose, covering the sight of her back. Her bangs fell across her forehead, concealing those sharp yet gentle eyes.

She shifted her feet lightly and slowly stepped into the water, though the lake's surface remained perfectly calm.

The clear, translucent water rose past her ankles, then her knees, barely covering her legs and hips. Yet the transparent lake surface still allowed every sight beneath the water to be seen clearly.

Crimson Kite's expression remained unchanged. She bent her knees and sat down, letting the water rise over her chest and to her neck before closing her eyes and entering meditation.

Just three breaths after her body was submerged in the lake, three-colored divine light suddenly rippled across its surface. Gold, silver, and purple flashed in alternating succession, continuously cleansing Crimson Kite's body.

Even though she had long known this lake's effects, once she truly entered its depths, the bone-eroding, soul-devouring sensation still made Crimson Kite let out a muffled groan of pain.

One had to know that the toughness of her body was enough to rival the bodies of ten-thousand-year Soul Beasts, or even Soul Beasts from ancient eras, on Douluo Continent. Her defense could completely disregard all attacks below the Soul Ancestor level.

Yet even so, Crimson Kite still groaned in pain the moment she entered this lake. Just how powerful was this lake's force?

Moreover, there was a waterfall beside it whose source could not be seen. If that waterfall was the source of this lake, then this place could truly be called a land of exceptional feng shui.

The three-colored divine light continued. As time passed, its flashes grew increasingly rapid, eroding Crimson Kite's body and decaying her soul. After completely dissolving her body into nothingness, another mysterious power began to reconstruct her.

Bones, internal organs, meridians, blood, muscles, skin.

Bit by bit, layer by layer—this was the evolution of a person, repairing one's existence from its very essence.

With Honkai Energy as bone, Soul Power as flesh, and Primal Force as spirit, it slowly constructed a human form from the most fundamental point.

The violet-white Honkai Energy that had once settled within Crimson Kite's body slowly formed her skeleton. A thin membrane covered the bones, violet light flowing across it as if thousand-year patterns had been branded upon its surface, creating a strange sight.

The Honkai Energy vanished.

Soul Power began to flow, generating flesh and blood around that strange skeleton. A faint pale-yellow glow filled the flesh, forming the eight extraordinary meridians. The toughness of those meridians was actually greater than that of her former body.

The Soul Power vanished.

Skin slowly began to grow over the exposed muscles. Her smooth skin seemed like a creation of heaven itself, crystal-clear and flawless, like the most perfect diamond in the world. The Primal Force filling Taixu Mountain began to converge, forming a massive vortex above the head of the human form known as Crimson Kite.

Enormous energy began pouring downward. Feet, legs, torso, hands, face—a person took shape.

Her skin was fair and smooth. Even if magnified tenfold, not a single pore could be found upon it. The top of her head was smooth as a mirror; if her face had not still been Crimson Kite's, one might have thought she was someone else.

But that state did not last long. The transition from a bald head to a forest of hair took no more than an instant.

Her silver-white long hair became even more crystalline, reflecting diamond-like brilliance in the air. Those three thousand strands of troublesome hair could also become three thousand hidden weapons, killing without a trace.

Its resilience was even greater than that of ordinary defensive soul tools, and it radiated abundant energy. It was all formed from a single kind of energy.

A quarter of the enormous vortex had already disappeared, and the remaining energy began to wash over Crimson Kite's brand-new body.

Primal Force directly enveloped this body formed from Honkai Energy and Soul Power. At first, the two forces fiercely resisted each other, neither yielding to the other, making the body's construction bizarre and unnatural.

It was like two designers having different ideas about the same product, yet both imposing their own designs upon it at the same time, turning that product into something exceedingly strange.

Then, at that moment, a third designer suddenly joined them, combining the strengths of both and creating an entirely new work.

Crimson Kite was that work, while the three designers were Honkai Energy, Soul Power, and Primal Force.

The three forces further optimized the work named Crimson Kite, forming a truly perfect existence.

PS: Your beloved author is back! I'm seriously annoyed. Why is it so easy to catch a cold when the seasons change? I'm speechless about my own body. I had only just recovered from my last cold, and now my rhinitis is acting up again. So annoying.

PS1: Let me state this here: in this book, any power system is only valid within my own book. No power systems from any other novels have been mixed in. You read it however I set it up! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'll reply in the comments or chapter posts.

PS2: Current owed chapters progress: (0/6), including three thousand bookmarks and 160 Monthly Votes. The author wants to wait until I owe twenty chapters before slowly paying them back. It just feels more satisfying that way. Can an author who never delays updates be called a good author? Hehe! (≧∇≦)/
