Time flew like a shuttle. Day and night continued to alternate within the Taixu Realm. Since that young girl had appeared, the Taixu Realm had returned to peace once more.
Between sunrise and sunset, the laws of the Great Dao evolved. Every day, Crimson Kite sat atop the peak, watching the changes of mountains and rivers and the flow of spiritual veins. The Taixu Realm was growing—at an astonishing pace.
As she watched the mountains and rivers change, clouds gather and scatter, Crimson Kite gained a new insight each time. It was the evolution of the Great Dao, the birth of laws.
If the Taixu Realm at its beginning had been a newborn infant, pure and flawless, then the Taixu Realm now was a child, just beginning to understand the truths of the world. Slowly, it imprinted the power of laws upon itself, then evolved its own Great Dao.
Unfortunately, the process was exceedingly slow—so slow that it might require several centuries, or even tens of millions of eras.
The world was changing, and so were the creatures within it. Spiritual plants flourished, spirit beasts grew mighty, and dense forests towered into the clouds as if determined to stand level with the heavens. The spirit beasts, too, had become abnormally enormous. It seemed that as time passed, their bodies were gradually adapting to the laws of this new world.
And as the master of this world—Crimson Kite herself—was also undergoing some sort of change. It was so subtle that it could not be detected at all for now.
