They encountered Azure Luan Douluo halfway there. From a distance, Qian Daoliu told him to turn back. That at least let Azure Luan Douluo know the visitor was probably not an enemy, and he immediately returned to report.
Qian Daoliu did not lead Xiao Yun straight into the heart of Spirit Hall. Instead, he took him to a secluded estate within Spirit City's third ring.
Qian Daoliu, Xiao Yun, and Qian Renxue descended directly into the estate from the air, immediately drawing the guards' attention. Once the guards recognized the Grand Pontiff, Qian Daoliu, patriarch of the Qian Family, they promptly bowed in greeting.
Qian Daoliu told them to prepare a quiet room, then stand guard around it.
Qian Daoliu took the seat of honor, and Xiao Yun sat opposite him, while Qian Renxue stood behind Qian Daoliu.
