The linen-clad old man's threat still echoed through the hall, yet the three people within paid it no heed whatsoever.

I know a thing or two about your father's affairs as well. Some people want to make an issue out of it, but they must first ask whether I am willing!"
Once again, Ye Xiwen heard a high-ranking figure mention his father, Ye Junshan. He wanted to ask more about Ye Junshan, but judging from Ye Zhentian's manner, he did not seem inclined to explain further.
When Ye Xiwen had asked his eldest uncle and third uncle, they had both acted as though the matter was too profound to speak of. They seemed unwilling to tell him anything about his parents either, so even now, Ye Xiwen only had a hazy understanding of it all.
