Within the Demon Realm, the Eight Great Royal Clans ruled over all. Beneath them were certain enormous clans and major clans that survived by attaching themselves to those Eight Great Royal Clans.
Among the Eight Great Royal Clans, the Fallen Angel Race and the Hidden Demon Race kept a particularly low profile, generally gathering in their own strongholds. Thus, although they were called the Eight Great Royal Clans, the ones with strongholds everywhere and influence spread throughout the entire Demon Realm were in fact the other six royal clans.
