In a secluded little courtyard, Ye Xiwen held the jade pendant Ye Kongming had given him earlier, turning it over in his hand. He could feel its warmth—a natural warmth, not his own body heat, but a gentle power inherent to the pendant itself.

"If it truly is that place, then forget about finding your biological father anytime soon!" Ye Mo said with a faintly bitter smile. "I'm not very familiar with it either. The Devil Realm has never set foot in the Ancient Barrens, so naturally our understanding of it falls far short of the Demon Race's!"
