Hiss!
In a distant land, high in the sky where ordinary people could not see, two figures, one large and one small, appeared out of thin air in an eerie flash.
One of them had pale hair falling loose around him and a rather gaunt frame. Most unusual of all were his twin pupils, dazzling like silver, as if an extremely mysterious fluctuation seeped through them.
At that moment, the man spoke, his tone filled with emotion.
"I never thought I'd actually get to see you again."
The Silver-Eyed Man looked toward that short figure, his gaze pausing on his face for a moment, and his eyes turned somewhat strange.
"Speaking of which, you've really lived younger and younger. Heh, brother, I'm damn envious!"
Though he said that, the Silver-Eyed Man's tone was full of teasing, without the slightest hint of actual envy.
Hearing this, the Devouring Lord's face instantly darkened. They had not met in years, yet this fellow's nature was still just as unserious as ever.
"If you envy me, you can die once too."
The Devouring Lord stared at the Silver-Eyed Man and said expressionlessly.
Perhaps because he had truly lived another life, his state of mind had changed somewhat; the Devouring Lord actually shot back, leaving the Silver-Eyed Man a little surprised.
"Heh, joking, joking."
His silver eyes turned, and the Space Lord gave a strange laugh before immediately continuing, speaking very quickly.
"Actually, Devour Heaven, the way you look now is pretty good too. I won't mind that you're a little brat. I just don't know what Junior Sister and the others will think when they see you."
