Background

The Great Thousand World is a vast realm formed from the convergence of billions of planes. Its constituent planes vary greatly in strength; most Lower Planes lack the heavenly foundation to nurture beings beyond the Sovereign Realm. Tianxuan Continent is one exceptional Lower Plane, having produced a Plane of Origin. 125 153

Its lands consist of continental plates scattered across a boundless ocean. Continents are ranked by size as Heaven, Earth, Profound, and Yellow Grade; a Yellow Grade Continent may be smaller than many Lower Planes. 213

In the ancient war against the Extraterritorial Evil Clan, half of the Great Thousand World's territory was transformed into Demon Territory. The Immortal Great Emperor ultimately sealed the Heavenly Evil God with the Great Thousand Demon Transformation Array, but sacrificed himself, and the Evil Clan remained within the world afterward. 183 801 926

World Will and Firmament List

The Great Thousand World's will is carried by the Firmament List, an existence regarded as the world's core. The Firmament List also gave rise to the ten Primal Law Bodies. 618

The World Will can suppress the Extraterritorial Evil Clan, while outsiders entering the Great Thousand World have their strength reduced. Its barrier does not impede native Great Thousand creatures. 86

World Power

• The World Will ordinarily could not actively purge Demonic Qi within itself. 183
• Mu Zi's resonance with it awakened the slumbering will, allowing World Power to purify Demon Territory and restore corrupted Spirit Power to Primal Power. 183

Dominators

Those who leave their full name on the Firmament List may enter the Dominator Realm. A Dominator's authority is strongest within the Great Thousand World; leaving the world's influence would diminish that borrowed power. 156 759

Following the Heavenly Evil God's demise, the Firmament List remained available and the world entered an “open period,” allowing qualified beings to comprehend World Power and potentially be recorded upon it. Mu Zi retained a connection to the World Will and could become the world's Dominator if she chose. 108

Organizations and Defenders

• Great Thousand Palace — alliance-like organization founded in ancient times to resist the Extraterritorial Evil Clan; the Immortal Great Emperor was its first Palace Master. It coordinates major powers and restricts life-threatening conflict among Heavenly Sovereigns. 349
• Gravekeeper lineage — secretive guardians who defended Northern Wasteland Hill for tens of thousands of years. 801

Martial World Era

Mu Zi expanded the Martial World into the Great Thousand World with the support of the Firmament List and World Power. Centered on the Heavenly Xuan World, it spread across most of the Great Thousand Universe. 170

The Martial World enabled its users to exchange information, resources, cultivation methods, Mystical Powers, Saint Artifacts, and War Merit rewards regardless of location. These functions strengthened Great Thousand forces during the reconquest of Demon Territory. 170 175

Areas not yet purified initially remained semi-closed, retaining only basic auxiliary functions; full access returned as local experts reclaimed and cleansed them. 170

War of Two Worlds

The Extraterritorial Evil Clan repeatedly invaded from the Demon Territory, exploiting its deeper foundation and vast number of Demon Emperors. The Great Thousand World's defensive barriers and Saint Grade experts initially held them back, but the Corrosion Demon Clan breached one such barrier through corrosion and self-destruction. 157 868

Mu Zi's intervention shifted the war's balance. She devastated Demon Emperor forces, reclaimed corrupted lands through World Power, distributed Spirit Guiding Talismans to mobilize lower-level cultivators, and established rewards for purification and military contributions. 173 183 284

The war concluded when the Great Thousand World destroyed the Evil Clan's foundation, emptied the Demon Territory of Demon Emperor-level beings, and reclaimed its lost territory. 923

The Heavenly Evil God remained the final hidden danger until Mu Zi erased it through the River of Time. Upon her return, the World Will manifested auspicious signs that were felt by all living beings. 760

Current State

After the Evil Clan's eradication, the Great Thousand World's territory became whole again and entered a period of peace and prosperity. The rise of the Martial World, the return of lost lands, and the emergence of new transcendent experts ushered in a Golden Age. 419 823

The Great Thousand World later established exchange with the Tianyuan Realm through a Realm Gate left by Mu Zi. 823
