I haven't been slacking off during the time I disappeared~
Let me talk about the progress on the new book:
As of now, the outline has already reached over a hundred thousand words, far more than the last one, and it's still growing...
I've been out of town lately. After I get back, I'll keep refining the outline and try to stockpile some chapters before the book starts. (Poor clumsy-handed me~)
As for the new book, it's been confirmed to be a Martial Universe fanfic.
After thinking it over, the female lead will still be Mu Zi.
Two Martial Universe books, both with female leads—if anyone is going to be stronger than Mu Zi, only Mu Zi herself is allowed! I'm not letting some other woman surpass her!
The core of the character won't change, but some settings will. For example: in the next book, Mu Zi won't start out in Mu Family Village.
A new character setup, a brand-new chapter.
However, that will be another story, one that unfolds differently from before.
As for whether the two Martial Universe books will end up feeling too similar—
Have a little faith in my ability!
I'm more or less a passion-driven author, and I enjoy the fun of innovation. If the plot beats are too similar, even I won't have any energy writing them.
The next book will be a completely new story.
I'm posting this single chapter partly to prove I haven't gone missing, and also to ask everyone what you want.
About the extras.
So far, the extras have been updated to nearly thirty thousand words in total, but due to certain reasons, they've been on hiatus for over a month.
One reason is that writing a male-protagonist story really lacks motivation for me.
