Background

In ancient times, Otherworldly Demons waged a calamitous war against the world. The Great Barren Tablet was used to suppress a vast mass of demonic qi and a demonic entity, while an ancient figure departed through a spatial rift after completing the seal. 301

A King-level Otherworldly Demon was separately bound beneath the Thunder Realm by chains connected to the Thunder Sun. Its demonic qi continually attempted to corrode those restraints. 380 Otherworldly Demon Qi was also released from the Nine Kings Hall beneath the Great Wilderness Ancient Tablet, prompting Lin Yun to use the Demon Gathering Banner to contain it. 187

In the present era, demons operate through Demon Prison and infiltrate major factions. Hao Jiuyou collaborated with them inside the Sky Demon Marten Clan, while four elders were exposed as hosts to demon seeds. 397 399 After Hao Jiuyou's plan was uncovered, he used his own blood sacrifice to summon three Otherworldly Demon Kings. 399 400

Appearance

Otherworldly Demons do not possess a single fixed appearance. Their higher-ranking forms are generally humanoid but marked by oppressive demonic qi, abnormal wings, or grotesque demonic bodies.
