Chen Xilin noticed that the surrounding trees had grown taller and denser, with thick trunks and lush branches and leaves that blotted out the sky. The air here was exceptionally fresh and soothing, but Chen Xilin could sense a dangerous aura deep within the forest.

Soon, Chen Xilin saw an enormous lake. Its water was crystal clear, sparkling with ripples. Chen Xilin could sense immense life energy from this lake.

Dense aquatic plants grew around the lake, adding vitality and life to the waters.

Sitting on the Hell Demon Dragon King's back, Chen Xilin looked around. It was a breathtaking sight he had never seen before, like an immortal realm.

"It's so beautiful." Chen Xilin felt an indescribable sense of comfort and spiritual fulfillment.

"This place is called the Lake of Life. Don't move around recklessly. There are quite a few Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts here!" the Hell Demon Dragon King said coldly.

The moment Chen Xilin heard the words Lake of Life, he understood. This was the Core Zone of the Star Dou Great Forest. Being able to visit it was not bad at all.

It looked both like an ape and a chimpanzee. Apart from its lantern-sized eyes gleaming with a yellow-crystal luster, its entire body was pitch-black.
