Background / History
Tang Yin was one of five transmigrated individuals who retained a shared connection. The group found that their total soul-power quantity was effectively equivalent to five people’s, giving them exceptional endurance, and that each possessed two martial souls available for testing through shared spirit-ring arrangements. Tang Yin’s known martial souls are the Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Grass. 2 102
Originally confined within the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Yin found mountain life stifling and wanted to leave to see the world. After escorting Tang Yuehua back to the sect’s outpost, he chose not to return with her; he believed remaining trapped in the sect would slow both his own growth and that of the other four. 2 39
He pursued an unusually dangerous cultivation path, repeatedly absorbing high-age spirit rings and spirit bones beyond conventional limits, then having bones stripped to test how much power was lost. His attempt to draw natural primordial qi through the Essence of Qi Method ended in an explosion and his death, exposing the risks of his recklessness. 40 41 56 57
Tang Yin later entered the City of Slaughter under the name Wang Dachui, achieved one hundred consecutive victories in the Hell Slaughter Arena, and received the title of Slaughter God. When the King of Slaughter refused to open Hell Road, Tang Yin fought through Hell Road, defeated the parasitized Tang Chen, and recovered the Haotian Token. 99 100
After helping restore Tang Chen’s clarity, Tang Yin returned with him to Clear Sky Sect. Backed by Tang Chen and the Haotian Token, he challenged the sect’s elders and Tang Xiao, defeated the assembled challengers, and succeeded Tang Xiao as sect master. 103 104 105
Personality
Tang Yin is bold, confrontational, and highly self-assured in battle. He readily challenges stronger opponents, from Tang Hao to the Clear Sky Sect’s elders, and favors direct hammer strikes over elaborate finishing techniques. 68 69 104
His drive for power often becomes recklessness. He deliberately tested high-age spirit bones and rings, attempted to cultivate natural primordial qi alone, and accepted the possibility of death rather than waiting to be forced into action by greater powers. 40 56 57
Outside battle, he can be playful and crude, particularly when discussing attractive women, but he is also observant and politically calculating. As sect master, he pushed Clear Sky Sect toward re-entering the Spirit Master Tournament and sought to resolve its conflict with Spirit Hall through strategy rather than passive isolation. 18 105 106
The City of Slaughter left him with severe killing intent. He can restrain it around Zhou Xuefeng and the other four, but strangers often perceive him as a cold and intimidating executioner. 101 102
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Tang Yin possesses the Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Grass martial souls. His twin-martial-soul status was publicly revealed at Moonlight Pavilion during his return to Clear Sky Sect. 102
- His Clear Sky Hammer is his primary combat martial soul. 67 68
- Blue Silver Grass allows him to use the Blue Silver Domain and spread restorative life energy. 102
- His martial souls remain linked to those of the other four transmigrated individuals, allowing cooperation and cross-influence over shared abilities. 2 69
Clear Sky Hammer Combat Style
Tang Yin fights through overwhelming physical force, sustained enhancement, and ground-based charging.
- Giant Strength — raises strength by 50%, adds a heavy-strike effect, and ignores 20% of defense. 104
- Po Jun — provides a 25% penetration effect. 68
- Indomitable — deals forced damage based on his soul-power strength, disrupts enemy soul power, and restores an equivalent portion of his own expenditure; its tested damage and recovery range was 4–15%. 62 68
- He can continuously increase the Clear Sky Hammer’s weight through accumulated energy, making prolonged battles increasingly favorable to him. 40 105
- His fighting style is particularly dangerous in drawn-out engagements; opponents must either defeat him immediately or prevent him from touching the ground and charging his abilities. 105
Overlord Body
Tang Yin’s third spirit skill forms protective energy through resonance with the earth.
- Increases defense by 70% and doubles bodily resilience in later use. 149
- Ignores 70% of control effects while he remains grounded. 149
- Can charge over time, strengthening both his protection and hammer weight. 40
- The charge is interrupted if his feet leave the ground. 40
Xiao Wu’s Spirit Ring and Bone Skills
After absorbing Xiao Wu’s spirit ring and left-leg bone, Tang Yin gained exceptional mobility and survivability. 71
- Eightfold Movement — creates eight Tang Yin figures that attack from all directions; once one strike connects, the other seven rapidly follow, accumulating explosive damage. 71
- Void — renders him intangible and immune to attacks for up to two and a half minutes per use; he must become tangible at the instant he attacks. 71 76
- Invincible Golden Body — a left-leg-bone skill. 71
- Teleportation — a left-leg-bone skill used for rapid repositioning. 71
Lightning Abilities
A lightning-attributed fourth spirit ring from before his death became a passive property of his Clear Sky Hammer afterward. 59
- Lightning Flying Hammer / Electric Flying Hammer — launches the hammer through a brief charge-up. 59 104
- Tang Yin can apply the technique to himself for extremely fast straight-line movement, though turning while launched is difficult. 104
- The forged Treasure Hammer also carries a lightning element after surviving lightning tribulation. 100
Divine Slaughter’s Domain
Tang Yin gained Divine Slaughter’s Domain when he revealed his Clear Sky Hammer after leaving Hell Road. 100
- Its killing intent can overwhelm ordinary people; at Moonlight Pavilion, numerous inhabitants fainted and the surroundings were damaged. 102
- Tang Chen and Tang Yuehua helped him contain the domain when it spiraled out of control. 102
- Tang Yin later avoided using it freely out of concern that the Asura Blood Sword might reverse the relationship and take control of him. 126
Haotian Techniques
Tang Chen personally instructed Tang Yin in the Clear Sky Sect’s advanced hammer arts. 100 105
- Learned the foundations of Ring Detonation and the Great Sumeru Hammer. 100 105
- Uses refined forms of the Haotian Nine Absolutes, modified by Tang Chen during his later years. 150
- Haotian Origin · Final Judgment — an 880,000-year God-Bestowed Spirit Ring skill defined by extreme power, offense, and destruction. 163
Soul Core
Tang Yin condensed a Soul Core after repeated spirit-bone removal, re-cultivation, and the absorption of Xiao Wu’s and the Titan Giant Ape’s spirit rings. 78
- His soul power became heavier, thicker, and showed signs of crystallization. 78
- The Soul Core formed through continuous circulation between his dantian, meridians, and martial soul. 78
Forging and Spirit Forging
Tang Yin is an accomplished blacksmith whose combat strength supports his forging progress.
- Reached Thousand Refinements by increasing the Clear Sky Hammer’s weight with spirit skills during forging. 42
- Learned that Spirit Power Crystal Powder could purify metals and make Thousand Refinements easier to achieve. 47
- Successfully performed Spirit Forging, producing a Soul-Forged pagoda by fusing compatible materials and sublimating them with his spirit and soul power. 63
- Forged five pagodas for the group from Black Absolute Stone and rare ores. 74
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Treasure Hammer — a forged hammer that converts one part soul power into three parts of effect, increasing attack, strength, and defense while making output denser and purer. 100
- Asura Blood Sword — transferred to Tang Yin by Tang Chen, drawing him into an Asura God Realm trial. 107
- Haotian Token — recovered from Tang Chen in Hell Road; established Tang Yin’s legitimacy in competing for Clear Sky Sect leadership. 100
- Titan Giant Ape Right Arm Bone — acquired alongside the Titan Giant Ape’s spirit ring. 78
Relationships
- Zhou Xuefeng — fellow transmigrated individual and close collaborator; stripped Tang Yin’s spirit bones for experimentation, protected him against Tang Hao, and helped heal Tang Chen after Hell Road. 41 69 100
- Yu Tianrui — fellow transmigrated individual and hunting partner; accompanied Tang Yin during high-risk spirit-ring and spirit-bone acquisitions. 39 40
- Ning Yulin — fellow transmigrated individual; advised Tang Yin on spirit-beast choices and worked with him on Spirit Forging research. 10 39
- An Lan — fellow transmigrated individual; joined Tang Yin and the others in later challenges, including the Sea Dragon Sacred Pillar trial. 2 163
- Tang Yuehua — Clear Sky Sect member whom Tang Yin escorted after the sect’s crisis; her Noble Domain helps calm his killing intent, and she later regrets not pursuing a relationship with him. 30 101 172
- Tang Chen — former Clear Sky Sect master whom Tang Yin freed from the King of Slaughter’s control; became his mentor in Ring Detonation and the Great Sumeru Hammer, then transferred the Asura Blood Sword to him. 100 105 107

- Hu Liena — Tang Yin openly expressed interest in her; she later visited Clear Sky Sect and invited him for a night stroll. 142 153
- Qian Renxue — fought Tang Yin in a major tournament battle; her strongest sword attack was countered by the Asura Blood Sword, resulting in her defeat. 150
