Background / History

Mudrock was a minor leader among Sarkaz mercenaries in Kazdel, where she and her companions trained constantly to survive warfare. When circumstances made remaining there impossible, she led the mercenaries who trusted her into Reunion. Her tribe, the Children of Earth and Stone, has been reduced to herself; most of its members died in wars and famines. 180 218 245

While serving as a deputy commander, Mudrock chose to remain behind to cover her group’s retreat rather than abandon lost comrades. During this period, she sensed Shi Lei’s overwhelming control over earth and stone, which she regarded as surpassing even her own bloodline affinity. 40 42

Her group had originally planned to travel with Rhodes Island toward Sargon, but Mudrock changed course to investigate Shi Lei and led the squad toward Lungmen. She nevertheless let every mercenary choose their own future rather than forcing them to follow her. 42

Appearance

Mudrock is a white-haired Sarkaz woman with restrained red eyes, delicate features, and black horns. Her usual heavy armor conceals her build so thoroughly that others initially mistake her for a burly hammer-wielding man. 43

After Officer Chen informed her that the Cat Gang hideout had become unclaimed, Mudrock led her mercenaries to seize it. She repelled three gangs, rejected an alliance offer, and became known throughout the Lower City as the Iron Hammer Strongman. 47 48

When V and Mudrock needed an inhibitor, Mudrock was willing to prioritize V despite her own illness.
