I Can See Health Bars

After dinner, Wang Tao carefully observed the area around each of the windows in his home.

Outside the south-facing windows, in the Residential Area Courtyard, there were roughly a dozen zombies. Those were only the ones he could see; there might be more in places hidden from view. And there were definitely zombies inside the four apartment buildings.

However, the day the Zombie Virus appeared had not been a weekend, and the rain had stopped. Quite a few workers in the residential area should have gone out... That was probably the only good news.

As for the main road outside the north-facing windows, it was a miserable sight. Many cars had crashed into one another, and blood was everywhere, but there were no bodies in sight—only several vicious-looking zombies wandering around.

Wang Tao continued observing the zombie through the peephole.

The door across the hall was just as sturdy. After pounding on it for two or three minutes, the zombie returned to its previous state and slowly headed downstairs.

"It pounded on the door for two or three minutes. If there were other zombies, they should have been drawn over. In other words, there's only this one zombie in the hallway of this building? If there's only one, maybe I can give it a try..."
