Suicided

After breakfast, the sun came out.

Wang Tao pulled back a corner of the curtain and looked outside.

"Damn!"

The good news was that the zombie horde from last night had left.

The bad news was that some zombies had remained inside the water plant! And there seemed to be more of the ones that stayed behind than there had been before he went to sleep last night. He did not know if they had been drawn over by the screams.

"Looks like I won't be going back today..."

Wang Tao looked at the zombies inside the water plant, then at his 80/300 Health Bar. He decided that he still could not take the risk today.

He had a car, but there was only one road out of the water plant, and it was full of zombies. Soon, the sleeping survivors gradually woke up. Only then did the policewoman go rest. The male college student gave her some food, and she thanked him.

The policewoman's husband leaned over the edge of the building and looked down, cursing under his breath.

After watching for a while, Wang Tao began rehabilitation exercises—his injuries had yet to heal, and appropriate exercise would help his recovery.

While eating, he observed the group of survivors again.

Then he noticed that the survivors seemed to be having some sort of argument.

The policewoman's husband shouted something at the petite girl. The girl covered her face with both hands, kneeling on the ground as she cried.

The policewoman and the male college student hurried over to mediate. Yellow Hair exchanged a few angry words with the policewoman's husband, then tightly wrapped an arm around the petite girl's shoulders. The petite girl burrowed into Yellow Hair's arms and cried.

The policewoman's husband seemed irritated and went off by himself to stay somewhere farther away.

Wang Tao suddenly felt that watching other people was quite interesting too.

He had nothing to do right now anyway, so he treated it as a way to pass the time.

That night.

Wang Tao did not go to bed early. Instead, he deliberately waited by the window.

As expected, the zombies on the road outside began increasing again. These zombies liked to move around at night, though there were not as many today as there had been yesterday.

"Huh?"

But suddenly, Wang Tao let out a soft sound of surprise.

He discovered that some of the zombies inside the water plant had followed the zombies outside and left! Wang Tao was delighted.

Early the next morning, Wang Tao went to the window as soon as he woke up.

"Sure enough, there are fewer zombies! Maybe they left because they couldn't find anything to eat?"

Wang Tao did not really understand it, but it was definitely good news.

Nothing happened today. The survivors did not lose anyone, and Wang Tao remained perfectly safe.

The second day trapped in the water plant passed safely.

That night, the policewoman was still keeping watch over on the survivors' side.

Wang Tao checked the number of zombies in the water plant. Sure enough, there were fewer again! "At this rate, I should be able to leave in another day!"

The third day trapped in the water plant.

Wang Tao was in fairly good spirits. His Health Bar had recovered another 20 points and was now at 100/300.

That night, there were still plenty of zombies loitering in the streets.

Only after Wang Tao saw another group of zombies leave alongside the ones outside did he finally relax completely.

There were probably only a little over twenty zombies left in the water plant now, and they were scattered around in different places. Only two or three stood in front of the main gate. He could absolutely drive away during the day! "Just patiently wait one more night!"

After routinely observing the survivors, he prepared to sleep.

Lying in bed, Wang Tao suddenly thought of Ding Yuqin.

"I left her food and water. As long as she stays obediently at home, she should be perfectly safe. I don't need to worry about her..."

He loved watching drama unfold.

The policewoman's husband had not expected Yellow Hair to wake up and seemed flustered, but the petite girl suddenly shoved Yellow Hair.

The two grabbed the policewoman's arms and said something to her in a panic.
