The man's facial features and body structure were remarkably human-like. Only his skin was dark red, his muscles exceptionally solid, and his eyes twenty percent larger than a human's.
As for his age, he appeared to be around forty by human standards. There were even a few sparse whiskers on his chin.
His clothes were extremely crude, like a human burlap sack cut into the shape of a vest and slipped directly over his body. He wore black pants below, along with a pair of leather shoes.

The red-skinned man pressed the most advanced device on his body, something that appeared to be a language translator embedded in his neck.
"Are you surprised that I look so much like you?"
He spoke directly in Chinese.
"There's nothing strange about that. The mainstream life-forms in the universe are still carbon-based organisms like us, so we need oxygen, internal organs, and all that. The planetary environments capable of nurturing life like ours are generally similar too. So, over the long course of biological evolution, we all grow more and more alike. This is the standard appearance of the winners."
Liu Di shifted his feet slightly. "I'm not particularly surprised by our faces. What surprises me is who you are, how you got in here, and why you don't look like a survivor of Heaven Prison Three!"
"Ah."
The red-skinned man looked at Liu Di with an expression of mutual understanding. "Who am I? Isn't that obvious? What is this place? It's a technological treasure vault! We're all the same—sneaking in to fish in troubled waters!"
