Li Wei crawled out of a pile of brick and stone rubble, his expression twisted together in a fit of embarrassed rage.

No one would be happy about getting kicked a hundred meters away.

He glared viciously toward the core Hive and saw a three-meter-tall Supreme Hunter emerge from the hole he had smashed through, kick off the wall, and leap out. What the fuck!

Though he had been caught off guard just now, he had seen it clearly. That little bastard Koro had ambushed him.

"Rounded up, I'm practically your father, and you're turning on me this fast!"

Jumping down from the rubble, Li Wei decisively chose to charge head-on against the Supreme Hunter, which was rushing toward him from nearly a hundred meters away.

The joint Blackwatch forces battling the infected around the core Hive spotted the two particularly conspicuous targets, the Supreme Hunter and Li Wei, and unleashed fierce firepower upon them.

Blood threads spread across the Supreme Hunter's body. In the blink of an eye, the three-meter-tall Supreme Hunter was completely absorbed by Li Wei, leaving no trace that it had ever existed.

Only after dealing with the Supreme Hunter did Li Wei let out a breath. His body returned to its original form, and after looking around, he jumped through the hole above and left the building.

Standing on the rooftop and gazing over artillery-ravaged Manhattan, Li Wei felt deeply moved.

The terrifying presence behind him kept stabbing at Li Wei's nerves. With no time to inspect it, he jumped directly into the world beyond the door.

The nuclear bomb detonated fifty meters above the core Hive. The 2.2-megaton warhead underwent fission, producing terrifying heat capable of destroying everything.
