Straightening his mimetic suit, which didn't actually need any adjusting, Li Wei followed the staff's directions and continued deeper into the interior of the ship.

He soon saw a crowded hall filled with many fixed seats, and an announcement was constantly reminding everyone to hold onto whatever objects were nearby.

After Li Wei entered, a volunteer wearing an orange vest immediately waved at him and shouted, "Grab onto something! Grab onto something, the ship is about to impact!"

After being reminded, and not wanting to appear too out of the ordinary, he did as those around him and grabbed the back of a chair, smiling at a little girl held in the arms of a young mother.

Rumble!

Not long after, a vibration occurred within the cabin, but it didn't feel like an impact; it felt more like the large ship was being moved somewhere else.

Just when many people thought the matter was over, all the lights in the cabin went out!

Warning lights flashing with red light appeared along with a piercing beeping sound, and the deep, thick voice of a middle-aged man reached everyone's ears from the loudspeakers: "The ship is about to collide! Everyone hold onto any stable objects nearby! Wait for the alarm to be cleared! Everyone hold onto any stable objects nearby, wait for the alarm to be cleared!"

The broadcast played three times in a row, and many people in the hall were so frightened by the red warning lights that they let out heart-wrenching screams, while others began to wail, using this method to vent the anxiety they had been bottling up all day.
