There was more than one giant beast. After Li Wei digested and compressed the biomass, his weight returned to its normal three tons, and he continued searching this battlefield—where no one knew what was being fought—for monsters to assimilate and absorb.

Because their vision was obstructed in the forest, the armored units used the simplest circular firing method, indiscriminately attacking everything in every nearby direction. This method consumed enormous amounts of ammunition, but it was effective and safe.

The slender tentacles stabbed into the shield, failing to force him back even half a step. The shield, however, was pierced several centimeters deep by their powerful penetrating force.

The ends of these two tentacles were as sharp as spears, and their thrusting speed was even more powerful than large-caliber armor-piercing rounds!

If this had been the previous Li Wei, his shield might have struggled to block those thrusts. But he had just assimilated a vast number of giant monsters, and his energy was overflowing.

With compressed biomass released, he could withstand even a nuclear explosion. The tentacles' thrusts possessed tremendous piercing power, but that was all they had.

The shield locked the sharp thrusts in place. His legs, wrapped in biomass armor, began to exert force as the little giant over two meters tall advanced while pushing against the two straight tentacles.

The tentacles resisted desperately. When they discovered they were weaker than Li Wei, they began retracting again, dragging Li Wei along with them.

The shield firmly trapped the tentacles, while Li Wei condensed his right arm into a spear-like structure and charged along with their pull.

His oversized body crashed into many objects along the way, but he smashed through them all with brute force. He charged forward blindly for over thirty meters before he finally felt resistance, and his spear pierced into something.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

A full sixteen sharp tentacles pierced into the shield. The monster's tentacles stopped retracting. Li Wei did not know what stood before him, only that he pushed the spear formed from his right hand forward with all his strength.

They wrestled for a full half minute. The ground had already sunk beneath his feet from his stomping before the resistance suddenly lightened, causing him to stagger two steps forward.

The tentacles embedded in the shield gradually softened and vanished, while the spear on his right arm smoothly pierced deeper into something.

Li Wei did not move the shield aside. Instead, he turned his right arm into a whip, injected Blacklight Virus into the monster he had pierced, and began assimilating and absorbing it.

The Key's energy was already full. He could still visit other worlds, so perhaps he should not consider entering those dangerous worlds for now?

With a casual blow, he shattered the tempered glass. Li Wei pinched the pure-white crystal between two fingers, and the door emitting white mist slowly dissipated after the crystal was removed.

Holding the white crystal between his fingers before his eyes, Li Wei studied it curiously. He wondered how this thing opened a door to another world. Unfortunately, all the scientists here were dead; otherwise, he could have used their research findings to study the Key.

At the thought of the Key, the Trash Key automatically materialized before him, floating in midair before abruptly slamming into the white crystal between his fingers.
