"Fuck!" Behind the overturned crowd, Li Wei struggled to climb up from the ground. His entire body hurt as if it were falling apart. Seeing the two-meter-tall monster charging at him with a howl, his expression turned as awful as if he had eaten shit.
The moment he got up, he ran deeper into the corridor, intending to hide from the monster first.
Amid the chaotic base, Raymond fled the observation window and sprinted to the safest basement in the entire facility. After connecting to the control center through a computer, he began roaring out orders. "Lock down the research facility immediately! Release the first-generation blood toxin! Have those two super soldiers put on their equipment! We must capture that Asian man! Immediately! If they aren't captured, all of you can get the hell out there and capture infected specimens!"
The Blackwatch soldiers in the control center, who had been joking around, snapped to attention upon hearing this and immediately relayed the orders everywhere. Hundreds of Blackwatch soldiers swiftly poured into the research facility and began closing the iron doors throughout the complex.
Hidden vents within the research facility released waves of pale yellow mist. This was the first-generation blood toxin capable of destroying infected cells, but because the experiment had not yet achieved complete success, it could currently only leave infected organisms severely weakened and easier to capture.
Raymond had even deployed two super soldiers who were still in the testing phase, all in an effort to salvage the situation as much as possible.
He had invited several military bigshots and politicians to this test. The military bigshots had indeed evacuated safely, but those politicians who rarely exercised had died horribly! He would inevitably face some pressure over it afterward.
Though there would not be any substantive punishment, his standing would definitely suffer.

"Who is this?!" Raymond stared at the suspicious figure on the screen, his eyes nearly spewing fire. In his heart, he had already decided that this person was the culprit!

The surveillance footage showed that after the person in the protective suit entered the cultivation room, he opened the cultivation tank, removed one of the six tubes of Redlight Virus, then stuffed an identical vial of Blacklight Virus stock solution from beside it into its place...

After the corridor lights flickered, pale yellow mist sprayed from the vents. The blood toxin began spreading through the surroundings, swiftly obscuring the view.
Seeing this, Li Wei quickened his pace and ran into the wide corridor to the left. Then he came face-to-face with seven or eight scarlet electronic eyes. After a burst of rapid gunfire, eight Blackwatch soldiers lay dead on the ground.

Li Wei followed behind him and finally escaped that damned place.
He had not expected that the research facility was not underground at all, but stood openly above ground.
Having breathed in the filthy air of freedom again, Li Wei did not even have time to celebrate before countless bullets rained down on him.
The thunderous sound of helicopter rotors overhead was crystal clear. Dozens of Blackwatch soldiers around the perimeter kept firing rifles at them.
He could not stay here. He had to run!
During his frantic escape just now, Li Wei had already learned the extent of his speed and strength. He immediately leaped toward what looked like a wall, jumping seven or eight meters high and more than ten meters far, clearing the electrified fence atop it in a single bound.

A suction force instantly formed beneath his feet, like an octopus's suckers, firmly fixing him to the wall. As though running on level ground, every cell in his body seemed to be squeezed dry, jetting out gas that allowed him to maintain his balance and run through the air.
And just like that, he easily began running up the building!
"Woohoo! Holy shit, this feels fucking amazing!"
Racing between the walls of buildings and dodging the helicopter's cannon fire, Li Wei felt an unprecedented sense of exhilaration.
His new ability was ridiculously overpowered, but it felt incredible!
In the future, he could brag directly to anyone he knew: I can run to the hundredth floor in one breath!
