About half an hour later, Anna pushed the door open and entered.
"Excuse me, Your Majesty."
Anna stepped forward and said respectfully, "I'm here to examine Your Majesty and see how well you've recovered."
"Alright."
Anna sat beside the bed and cradled Losweiser's left hand in her palms. At once, a shimmering emerald-green magical energy flickered between them.
A moment later, Anna set Losweiser's hand down, barely able to conceal her delight. "Your Majesty has basically recovered. Drink a little more medicinal soup, and you'll be fully healed by tonight."
"For the Dragon King's body, such a minor issue doesn't need all this trouble. Taking medicine is just going through the motions."
Anna smiled. "Your Majesty is right. Then I'll go tell Prince and Princess the good news."
"Ah, wait."
Losweiser's eyes shifted, mischief beginning to churn in her belly. "Don't tell Leon yet. I want..."
Losweiser looked away, her cheeks reddening. "I want him to take care of me for a few more days. If you see him, tell him I still need to stay in bed for another week."
Anna froze for a moment, then covered her mouth and chuckled. "Say no more, Your Majesty. I understand."
Losweiser lowered her gaze and softly replied, "Mm... then go attend to something else."
"Yes, Your Majesty. Please rest well and drink plenty of water."
"Mm."
After nodding and bowing, Anna turned and left.
Losweiser, meanwhile, continued nursing herself back to health.
