Background / History

Constantine was an ancient hero of the Dragon race who won territory from humans and other races during the early Human-Dragon War. Previous generations of Dragon Slayer armies reportedly failed whenever they fought him, and he was later remembered in dragon educational stories and textbooks. 153 185 368

After a long period away from major battlefields, Constantine began aggressively expanding Crimson Flame Dragon territory and provoking conflicts among dragon clans. This campaign concealed his actual assignment from the Human Empire: assassinating Leon Kasmod within Silver Dragon territory without exposing Constantine’s secret cooperation with humanity. 153 234

His cooperation with the Empire was also tied to the Warhammer Dragon King Adam. Adam had injured Constantine’s daughter Hefei thirty-three years earlier, and Constantine sought to use the Empire’s network to locate him. 473

Constantine can transform between a massive crimson dragon and a human man with crimson hair, red eyes, and a long robe. His later resurrected body was a visibly artificial fusion of dragon and dangerous-species parts. 167 316 381
