The Demon God Emperor's gaze remained icy. He would not feel heartache over a dead demon god; another could always be cultivated. But the Demon God Pillars were the true foundation of the Devil Race, like the framework holding up the towering edifice of their race. Three Demon God Pillars had already been destroyed. It did not seem like many, but what if this continued? Over ten years, twenty years, how many more Demon God Pillars would be destroyed?

"Vasak." The Demon God Emperor turned his gaze toward the Star Demon God beside the Moon Demon God.

Vasak nodded. "The moment I received the news, I used divination. Since it was only directed at whether Austin Griffin had appeared, it should have been accurate. Long Haochen was likely the one who destroyed the Demon God Pillar. But for some reason, I sensed the aura of life from him. He did not seem to possess an undead body as described in the Life Prophecy."

Upon hearing Vasak's words, the Demon God Emperor's expression relaxed instead. He nodded and said, "That makes more sense. Long Haochen rescued Ye Xiaolei. Ye Xiaolei is the avatar left behind by the Nature Goddess and could be called the being with the strongest life force on the continent. With her there, perhaps Long Haochen's heart truly has a chance of recovering. At the very least, she would give Long Haochen a powerful aura of life."
