Moonlit Night and Abao's Sequential Arrival (Part 2)

"I've been waiting for you for a long time." Long Haochen watched Abao rapidly approaching and spoke with a smile. His voice was not loud, yet every Black Dragon Guard could hear it clearly.

Abao stopped two hundred meters away from Long Haochen. His earlier composure had vanished without a trace, his fists clenched so tightly they crackled. The muscles and bones throughout his body seemed to be swelling larger.

"It's been over five years, Your Highness the Crown Prince. Have you been well?" Long Haochen sat upright on the Divine Seal Throne of Eternity and Creation, showing no intention of rising.

"Well? I've been very well. All thanks to you." Abao's voice was cold and low. Behind him, purple-black radiance surged ever more fiercely, rising in a fan-shaped spread—his intense fighting spirit.

Long Haochen smiled calmly. "I know you weren't convinced by your defeat back then. Then today, I'll make you submit wholeheartedly."

Abao said coldly, "I don't understand why Father thinks so highly of you. But I believe that if I bring your corpse before him, he'll be very pleased."

"The Demon God Emperor has already killed me once," Long Haochen said. "If you truly have the ability, then please."

Purple light blazed in Abao's eyes. Just as he was about to move, Huang Shuo stepped sideways and blocked his path.

"Move aside!" Abao roared.

Huang Shuo said in a low voice, "Your Highness. He definitely isn't alone here; don't fall into a trap. We still don't know where that hidden assassin is. We must proceed carefully. Your Majesty said that when we encountered Long Haochen, we didn't necessarily have to fight him with everything we had. As long as we could hold him back, our mission would be complete."

"Move aside." Abao's icy voice rang out again.
