Just as Katakuri seemed slightly distracted, an icy spike shot at him from behind.
He shifted sideways and dodged the spike.
"Future Sight? I really picked a troublesome opponent for myself," Aokiji sighed.
"I thought only 'despicable' pirates like us would launch sneak attacks," Katakuri said mockingly.
"Don't be stupid. This is a battlefield!" Aokiji crushed the railing on the enemy ship, tossed the wood chips aside, and with a blast of cold air, an Ice Saber appeared in his hand.
"Hmph! You sure are straightforward!" Katakuri flicked his wrist and caught his trident.
As soon as he finished speaking, the two attacked almost simultaneously.
The Ice Saber sliced through the air, freezing moisture into tiny ice crystal bullets that shot outward.
Katakuri raised his left arm, transforming it into a machine gun, then fired a barrage of hardened, Armament Haki-coated mochi bullets.
The ice crystal bullets and mochi bullets collided densely, erupting with tremendous force. Ice mist and mochi powder filled the air, obscuring everyone's vision.
Yet neither of them had any intention of waiting for the dust to settle. They charged straight into the haze.
