Stormrage Garrison.
In the hall, Lord Falondar set down his teacup and looked toward Illidan. At his signal, Illidan waved a hand and pulled a long roll of parchment from his arcane space.
Ji Feng narrowed his eyes slightly, deep in thought.
"Ji Shadowwind, before you came here, Illidan told me what happened last night. Regarding that matter, is there anything you wish to say to me?" Illidan hung the long scroll on the wall of the garrison hall. After glancing at the square parchment, Lord Falondar suddenly asked.
Red, yellow, purple, green—the square scroll Illidan had hung on the wall was actually a map.
"Lord Falondar, since the fault lies with our Shadowwind Clan, we are naturally willing to compensate you. However, I hope you can grant us some time to prepare." Though he did not know what Falondar intended, Ji Feng answered politely.
After hearing Ji Feng's words, Lord Falondar did not respond. He smiled faintly, rose to his feet, and walked toward the map.
"This hall is a standard Elf Empire structure. Blue stone pillars serve as walls, with a cloud-patterned dome, carved glass, open surroundings, and beautiful flowers and grass planted outside. Ji, what do you think of the Elf Empire's foundations?" Walking slowly to the square map, Falondar asked with a hint of a smile.
"The Elf Empire occupies nearly half of Azeroth's land, stretching north to Ulduar, south to Pandaria, west to Mount Hyjal, and east to Uldaman. Its foundations must be unimaginably powerful..." Flattery cost nothing, so Ji Feng threw in some praise.
"This is the Elf Empire's most prosperous age. This is Queen Azshara's age. This is an age belonging to elves and Pandaren... Ji, I heard that you wish to unite the Shadowwind Clan? If that is true, I, Falondar Sindragosa, am willing to lend you a hand."
Staring at the map, Falondar's gaze was incomparably deep. He anticipated change. He longed for a great war that would transform Pandaria...
"What? My lord wishes to help me unite the Shadowwind Clan?"
"Indeed... If you lack weapons or provisions, my Sindragosa Clan can provide them, so long as you can unite the Shadowwind Clan. Not only that, if you can take Kun-Lai Summit, my Sindragosa Clan will also support you with all our strength..."
As Ji Feng stood astonished, Lord Falondar even brought up Kun-Lai Summit. His ambitions were certainly not small.
Silence. Ji Feng fell silent. He needed to think these words over carefully.
"System prompt: 24 Earth hours have passed since the last livestream. Upgrade from lv2 to lv3 complete. The livestream room is about to open."
As Ji Feng pondered, the system's voice suddenly sounded. Twenty-four hours had passed since yesterday's livestream, and the system-mandated broadcast time had arrived.
The instant the upgrade notification vanished, the livestream room opened on its own. In a moment, the screen was flooded with comments.
"Brother Feng, I haven't seen you for a day. Baby missed you so much. I even dreamed about being with you last night..."
"Brother Feng, I've been waiting all day. I didn't even eat lunch. Hurry up and serve it."
"Today was the monthly exam. I didn't even take it just to watch Brother Feng's stream. We're finally getting elf beauties today, right!"
"I've been holding it in for three days. Brother Feng, hurry up and get this show on the road."
"Beep! Student card..."
"Ahem... Hello, brothers and sisters of the stream. I'm Ji Feng, your transmigration streamer. I'm currently at the Sindragosa Village guard garrison. My clansmen and I have been detained by the elves, so the elf beauty livestream I promised everyone has to be delayed." As soon as the livestream opened, Ji Feng used voice chat directly.
Now that the livestream room had reached lv3, Ji Feng could use voice communication for ten minutes every hour. His tone was no longer as rushed as it had been a few days ago.
"Brother Feng, detained? Don't tell me, don't tell me you already had your fun last night? Fuck... You animal!"
"Fuck, I waited all day and this is what you tell me... Ah! I'm so pissed!"
"I have always been prepared to speculate on the Chinese with the worst possible malice, yet I never expected, nor believed, that they could be this cruel. Even if I die and am nailed inside my coffin, I will still use my rotten vocal cords from the grave to shout: fuck your mother..."
"Turning from fan to hater... The streamer isn't human. We spent half a year donating our hard-earned money, and the streamer used our blood and sweat to secretly have fun alone! Give back our hard-earned money!"
"What are you? What the hell are you doing?!"
"Baka."
Yesterday, Ji Feng had given his viewers a huge thrill. He had agreed to livestream elf beauties today, yet he was suddenly saying he would not broadcast it. The frustration was like getting halfway through something unspeakable with your girlfriend, only to hear knocking outside the door. At a time like that, cursing was already considered mild.
Resentment. The entire screen was filled with resentment.
"Viewers, I didn't do that last night... Last night, I was discussing the unification of the Shadowwind Clan with the Elf race. The discussion is still ongoing. Look, standing before me right now is an elf noble, Lord Falondar Sindragosa." As the saying went, viewers could carry the boat, but they could also race it. Ji Feng did not dare offend so many viewers and hurriedly explained.
After livestreaming these past two days, Ji Feng's reputation was no longer what it had been before. The moment the stream started today, the viewer count had already exceeded three hundred thousand. Only an idiot would offend three hundred thousand viewers, not to mention that viewers were gods!
"Brother Feng, even bullshit needs a draft... On the first day, you transmigrated and beat Shanbu. On the second, you subdued the Shadowwind clansmen. On the third, you're discussing uniting the clan with elves. Fuck... So on the fourth day, are you going to fight the Thunder God?"
"Dragon-slaying treasure blade, click to claim... Where are the greasy senior sisters? Brother Feng, stop hiring actors. We're all old drivers here... You just hired a couple of elves and made up some Shadowwind Clan representative conference. Do you take us for idiots?"
"Falondar Sindragosa? That name sounds familiar! Holy shit, there's an area on the Broken Isles 7.0 map, Suramar, called Falondar. Brother Feng, don't tell me the future Falondar map was named after the Falondar Sindragosa standing in front of you!"
"If these two aren't actors, I'll livestream myself eating shit, huge mouthfuls of hot, steaming shit with scallions..."
"This is getting more and more ridiculous. Could yesterday's battle have been an entertainment performance too? Brother Feng! Brother Feng, you do understand the saying that one misstep leads to eternal regret..."
"Ancient Ayi hired a stand-in; now the Ji family has actors. This livestream has no bottom line anymore. Unfollowed, unfollowed."
The viewers could not be blamed for disbelieving him. The whole thing was simply too absurd. Even Ji Feng himself was somewhat confused. An elf lord suddenly approached you and said he wanted to help you build up your power, give you weapons and provisions—indeed, it sounded like bullshit.
"Ahem... Brother, there's no need to eat shit! If you enjoy the show later, just send me a big sword donation..."
"And what I said is absolutely true. The camera angle was a little off just now. Let's point it at a 'handsome man' now. I'm sure everyone will believe what I said..."
The livestream's viewpoint was Ji Feng's own perspective. He had kept it fixed on Lord Falondar and had not paid any attention to Illidan at all. As his words fell, he shifted the viewpoint to Illidan Stormrage.
A face carved like a blade, swordlike brows, bright eyes, dignified bearing, and elegant grace...
This era's Illidan was perhaps at the most handsome point of his life. Even among the elves, he could be considered exceptionally valiant and extraordinary.
Dressed in a purple robe, with his hands behind his back, Illidan stood by the window. The livestream's view slowly settled on him, and the viewers saw this controversial Son of the Holy Light.
"Who's this guy? He is kind of handsome. Looks like Brother Feng put some effort into hiring actors..."
"Golden eyes, Illidan—this is Illidan! Holy shit... I saw my idol on my first day watching the stream. He's one of the most popular characters in World of Warcraft..."
"Arthas is the most famous, alright!"
"Bullshit! The most famous is obviously my Warchief, Garrosh Hellscream! You trash, looks like you've never experienced being crushed by Orgrimmar siege engines... For the Horde!"
"For the Alliance. King Wrynn is the most famous... King Wrynn's final battle was the most passionate and moving part of 7.0..."
"Why did King Wrynn die in battle? Because Vol'jin was injured and the Horde retreated. Why did the Horde retreat? Because even the World Shaman couldn't stop the demons. Why couldn't the World Shaman stop the demons? Because the elemental spirits abandoned our great World Shaman. Why did the elemental spirits abandon the World Shaman? Because in Nagrand, the World Shaman failed to follow the orcs' mak'gora tradition and murdered Garrosh Hellscream. Why was Brain-Damaged Roar in Nagrand? Because after we beat the crap out of him, the four Celestials, struck by their saint complex, didn't sentence him to death. Why did the Alliance and Horde need the four Celestials to judge Brain-Damaged Roar after beating him up? Because when the World Shaman first tried to kill Brain-Damaged Roar, King Wrynn blocked a blade for him. King Wrynn's death was all karma for what he did in 5.4! Blizzard kept him alive for two whole expansions, which was already more than generous, alright!"
"You bunch of idiots. Brother Feng, if you can recruit Illidan within a year, I'll donate School Belle *99 combo. No exaggeration, no bias..."
"Holy shit... A big spender has appeared. Everyone, watch..."
Some people did not need to say anything or do anything. Their mere appearance was enough to excite people. Illidan was like that, Arthas was like that, Garrosh Hellscream was like that... Illidan's appearance immediately slapped the haters hard across the face.
